Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 (Pushpa The Rule) has already broken numerous records in Indian cinema, surpassing films like RRR, Baahubali 2, KGF 2, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, even before its release. The film, which is slated for an August 15 release, has already generated over ₹600 crore in earnings prior to hitting screens.

Notably, the OTT (digital) rights for Pushpa 2 across all six languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali) were acquired by Netflix for ₹275 crore, setting an all-time record, surpassing RRR‘s previous record of ₹170 crore for its OTT rights. Additionally, the music rights for Pushpa 2 across all languages were sold for ₹75 crore. In total, Pushpa 2 has already recovered ₹640 crore from its Hindi theatrical rights, overseas theatrical rights, OTT rights, and music rights alone.
