Kalki Pre-Release Business and Box Office Predictions

The upcoming pan-India film Kalki, featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, is set for release on June 27. The film has already started making headlines with its pre-release business. The North America theatrical rights for Kalki have been sold for a record price of ₹50 crore. It is anticipated that the total overseas theatrical rights for the film across different regions will reach approximately ₹100 crore.

Beyond overseas markets, the theatrical rights for all Indian languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—are yet to be sold, along with digital, satellite, and music rights, all expected to fetch substantial amounts. With a reported budget of ₹500-600 crore, Kalki is projected to easily earn ₹700-800 crore from all its rights before its release. Upon its release, the film is expected to achieve a minimum first-day collection in the range of ₹150 crore. Early indications suggest that if the film resonates with audiences, its lifetime collection could significantly surpass Prabhas’s previous film Salaar, potentially reaching ₹1000, ₹1200, or even ₹1500 crore at the box office.
