Superstar Sunny Deol’s film, Border 2, continues to see its box office collections rise rapidly day by day. The film has already earned more than its budget worldwide within its initial five days. Notably, the film’s four-day collections in the worldwide market had already surpassed ₹50 crore.
The film has maintained its strong performance, with shows in all cinemas reportedly housefull since its release. This indicates that all collections are real and organic. Border 2 delivered strong earnings over its first four days, benefiting from its release day, a half-holiday on Saturday (Day 2), Sunday (Day 3), and a public holiday on January 26th (Day 4). Despite the fifth day being a working day, the film continued its explosive performance, achieving collections that rival the opening day earnings of major Bollywood superstar films.

In its initial three days, Border 2 achieved an India net collection of ₹159 crore 99 lakh. During the same period, the film’s India gross collection reached ₹153 crore 27 lakh, marking the crossing of the ₹150 crore milestone in India collections within three days.
On its fourth day, January 26th, Border 2 received an even stronger response at the box office compared to its first, second, and third days. The film secured an India net collection of ₹65 crore 12 lakh on its fourth day, with a gross collection of ₹76 crore 84 lakh for the same day. For its fifth day, Border 2 is reportedly collecting an India net collection of ₹23 crore 50 lakh.

Border 2’s overall India net collection for its initial five days stands at ₹218 crore 51 lakh. The India gross collection for this period is recorded as ₹57 crore 84 lakh.
The film has also performed well internationally, with its overseas gross collection reaching ₹33 crore 68 lakh. Combining these figures, Border 2’s total worldwide collection for its first five days is ₹291 crore 52 lakh.
Border 2 Performance Against Budget
With a total budget of ₹75 crore, Border 2 has significantly outperformed, earning over ₹291 crore within just five days. The production cost for the film was ₹50 crore, with an additional ₹25 crore spent on marketing and promotion.
Border 2 Collection Compared to Gadar 2
Currently, the highest-grossing film in Sunny Deol’s career is Gadar 2, which collected over ₹700 crore worldwide. However, Border 2’s initial five-day collections are better than those of Gadar 2.
