Bollywood’s horror-comedy film Munjya has had a strong run at the box office, performing excellently in its first week and showing even better collections in the second weekend. Despite the end of holidays and the start of weekdays, the movie continues to earn well. In its second week, Munjya is collecting more than the recently released Chandu Champion, even with significantly fewer screens.

With 13 days in cinemas, Munjya had an India net collection of ₹71 crore 25 lakh within its initial 11 days. On its 12th day, the film earned ₹4 crore 71 lakh. Reports indicate that on its 13th day, Munjya is again collecting ₹3 crore 50 lakh in India net collection, showing only a slight drop compared to the previous day.

The film’s cumulative 13-day all India net collection stands at ₹79 crore 46 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹81 crore 35 lakh. Globally, Munjya’s 13-day box office collection has reached ₹85 crore 27 lakh, surpassing ₹85 crore worldwide. The film has already been declared a super duper hit and is expected to cross the ₹100 crore mark globally in the coming days.

Maharaja Box Office Collection: Six-Day Total

The South Indian film Maharaja, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap, has performed exceptionally well at the box office despite minimal promotion and pre-release hype. With a budget of ₹20 crore, the film’s collections have steadily increased due to positive word-of-mouth, earning more than double its budget in the worldwide market.

Released in Tamil and Telugu languages, Maharaja has completed 6 days in cinemas. The film’s all India net collection had already surpassed ₹28 crore within four days. On its fifth day, it collected ₹3 crore 63 lakh. For its sixth day, Maharaja is reportedly collecting approximately ₹3 crore 50 lakh in net collection across both Tamil and Telugu languages.

In total, Maharaja’s initial six-day all India net collection has reached ₹35 crore 28 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹41 crore 92 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection over six days stands at ₹52 crore 55 lakh. Maharaja has earned the superhit tag and may soon achieve blockbuster status.

Chandu Champion Box Office Collection: Day 6 Performance

Kabir Khan’s Bollywood biopic drama Chandu Champion, featuring Kartik Aaryan, received a moderate opening but saw significant growth in its collections on the second, third, and fourth days due to positive reviews. The film has maintained a good hold at the box office on its fifth and sixth weekdays.

Chandu Champion collected an India net amount of ₹29 crore 41 lakh within its first four days. On its fifth day, the film added ₹4 crore 75 lakh to its net collection. On the sixth day, the occupancy dropped by 10-15% compared to the previous day, leading to an estimated India net collection of ₹3 crore 50 lakh for Chandu Champion.

The film’s total six-day all India net collection is ₹36 crore 46 lakh, while its India gross collection stands at ₹43 crore 38 lakh. Globally, Chandu Champion’s six-day box office collection has reached ₹51 crore 17 lakh, surpassing ₹50 crore worldwide. The film has not yet been classified as a hit or a flop.

Kalki Advance Booking: Overseas Collection Soars

Pan-India superstar Prabhas’s upcoming film Kalki is set for a massive global release on June 27, across 10,000 screens in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. While India’s advance booking is yet to begin, Kalki has already achieved significant overseas advance booking collections.

The film’s overseas advance booking collection for the weekend includes $2.10 million from the USA, $28,000 from the UK, $92,000 from Australia, $66,000 from Gulf countries, and $13,000 from Canada. This brings Kalki’s total overseas advance booking collection for the weekend to $2.57 million.

Converting this to Indian currency, Kalki has garnered a remarkable ₹21 crore 43 lakh in advance bookings from international markets, a week before its release.
