Chhaava Box Office Collection: Latest Day-Wise India & Worldwide Earnings Revealed

The Diplomat Box Office: 6-Day Worldwide Collections

The action-thriller film The Diplomat has completed six days in cinemas. The film saw decent earnings in its initial three days at the box office, but collections for the fourth, fifth, and sixth days significantly declined. With a budget of ₹35 crore, the film’s six-day box office collection currently seems low compared to its budget, indicating it might struggle to recover its production costs globally.

The Diplomat recorded an India net collection of ₹14 crore 98 lakh within its first four days. On Tuesday, its fifth day, the film earned ₹1 crore 63 lakh from the Indian market. On its sixth day, The Diplomat is collecting an estimated ₹1 crore 45 lakh in India net collection, with occupancy dropping compared to the previous day. This brings the film’s total six-day all-India net collection to ₹18 crore 6 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹21 crore 9 lakh. The film also garnered ₹3 crore 97 lakh from overseas markets. Cumulatively, The Diplomat‘s six-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹25 crore 46 lakh.

Salman Khan’s Sikander Box Office Release Strategy

Bollywood’s Sikander is set for release on Sunday, March 30, shifting from a speculated March 28 date. The film’s Sunday release is strategic, as Eid falls on its second day of release, a Monday. This scheduling is expected to benefit Sikander with strong earnings on both Sunday and the Eid holiday, leading to robust two-day box office collections. Had the film been released on a Friday, it would have enjoyed a four-day opening weekend, potentially resulting in even higher earnings. The trailer for Sikander is anticipated to be released between March 20-25, approximately one week before the film hits cinemas. Sikander is projected to be a major blockbuster if it resonates well with audiences, with expectations for it to potentially break existing box office records.

Prabhas’ Salaar Re-release Box Office Performance

Prabhas’ Salaar: The Ceasefire, which achieved record-breaking earnings during its initial Christmas 2023 release, is set for a re-release in cinemas. The action-thriller will be re-released on March 21, exclusively in the Telugu language across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Advance bookings for the re-release began approximately a week prior and received an overwhelming response.

The strong advance booking figures suggest that Salaar is poised for another round of record-breaking collections during its re-release. From Andhra Pradesh alone, the film secured an advance booking collection of ₹73 lakh. In Telangana, advance bookings reached ₹2 crore 19 lakh. This brings the total advance booking collection from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to ₹2 crore 92 lakh, with overall advance bookings nearing ₹3 crore. The film’s strong performance in advance bookings indicates significant box office potential for its re-release.

Chaava Box Office: 34-Day Worldwide Mega Blockbuster Collection

Chaava, released on February 14, initially premiered in Hindi and saw massive earnings for three weeks. After three weeks, the film was also released in Telugu, where it continued its impressive box office performance. Now, after 34 days in cinemas, Chaava continues to earn crores daily. Its continued strong run suggests it may dominate the box office until the release of Salman Khan’s Sikander.

With a budget of ₹130 crore, Chaava has already earned many times its production cost. The film collected ₹576 crore 93 lakh in India net collection across both Hindi and Telugu languages within its first 32 days. On its 33rd day, the film added ₹3 crore 68 lakh from both languages. For its 34th day, Chaava is estimated to achieve an India net collection of approximately ₹2.5 crore, noting a slight drop in morning show occupancy compared to the previous day, as well as reduced bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. This brings Chaava‘s total 34-day all-India net collection to ₹582 crore 11 lakh across both languages, with an India gross collection of ₹692 crore 17 lakh. Additionally, the film has garnered a substantial overseas gross collection of ₹91 crore 28 lakh. In total, Chaava‘s 34-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹783 crore 45 lakh. Having earned over ₹783 crore worldwide against a ₹130 crore budget, Chaava has officially become a mega blockbuster film.
