Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 16: Worldwide Earnings for Vicky Kaushal & Rashmika Mandanna Film Revealed

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 16: Worldwide Earnings for Vicky Kaushal & Rashmika Mandanna Film Revealed

Chhaava Box Office: Crossing ₹600 Crore Mark and Third-Week Records

The film Chhaava, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has already surpassed the ₹600 crore mark at the box office, with its earnings continuing to grow rapidly. In its third week, Chhaava earned more than major Indian cinema blockbusters like Pushpa, Jawan, Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Animal. This historical action drama, released on February 14 and directed by Laxman Utekar, stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Vineet Singh, and Akshaye Khanna. Produced on a budget of ₹130 crore, the film was released exclusively in Hindi.

Chhaava secured the biggest opening of 2025 on its first day at the box office. Following a strong first day, the film’s first-week collection was remarkable, and its second-week performance exceeded expectations. Notably, in its third week, Chhaava’s collections surpassed even Pushpa 2’s earnings. No film in the history of Indian cinema has achieved such high earnings in its third week as Chhaava has, whether South Indian or Bollywood productions. The film’s collections suggest its lifetime box office collection is expected to approach the ₹1000 crore milestone, with predictions indicating it could earn over ₹1000 crore worldwide.

Chhaava Box Office Performance and Screen Trends

Upon its release, Chhaava faced no competition from other Bollywood films, leading to exceptional first-week collections. In its second week, an Arjun Kapoor film was released, resulting in a slight reduction in Chhaava’s screen count, yet the movie maintained strong earnings. The third week saw the release of the Bollywood film Crazy, which again led to a reduction in Chhaava’s screens. Despite these repeated screen reductions over three weeks, new films did not perform well, causing Chhaava’s screens to be reinstated. The film is expected to soon recover its original screen count from its opening day. With no new Bollywood films releasing this week, Chhaava is anticipated to deliver strong collections in its fourth week.

Chhaava’s India net collection for the first two weeks (14 days) was ₹411 crore 46 lakh. On its third Friday (15th day), the film earned ₹13 crore 30 lakh. The 16th day (third Saturday) saw an India net collection of ₹21 crore 85 lakh, which is considered a blockbuster earning. For its 17th day (Sunday), based on improved occupancy in morning, afternoon, evening, and night shows, Chhaava is estimated to collect approximately ₹25 crore 50 lakh in India net collection.

With these figures, Chhaava’s cumulative India net collection for 17 days stands at ₹472 crore 11 lakh, and its India gross collection totals ₹561 crore 75 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Chhaava over 17 days has exceeded ₹643 crore. The film is projected to surpass the ₹650 crore mark worldwide on its 18th day.

Crazy Box Office Collection: Opening Weekend Report

The Bollywood drama thriller film Crazy, released this week, was produced on a budget of ₹20 crore. Despite not featuring a major superstar, the film received good reviews and achieved a decent opening at the box office. It was released on 1150 screens in India and approximately 100 screens overseas.

Crazy’s India net collection on its first day was ₹1 crore 10 lakh. On the second day, the film experienced decent growth, earning an India net collection of ₹1 crore 75 lakh. Due to Sunday and positive reviews, the third day saw further growth in collections and occupancy, with the film making an estimated India net collection of ₹2 crore 10 lakh.

Cumulatively, Crazy’s India net collection for its first three days stands at ₹4 crore 95 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹5 crore 88 lakh. The film collected only ₹10-12 lakh from the overseas market. This brings Crazy’s total worldwide box office collection for its initial three days to approximately ₹6 crore.

Tandey Box Office Success: Worldwide Collections

The romantic action-drama film Tandey, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, was released on February 7 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. After 24 days in cinemas, the film has shown strong performance at both the Indian box office and in overseas markets. Tandey has emerged as a significant hit in Naga Chaitanya’s career.

The all-India net collection for Tandey across all languages stands at ₹73 crore 86 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹87 crore 91 lakh. The film garnered ₹1 crore 64 lakh from the overseas market. Tandey’s total worldwide box office collection has reached ₹105 crore 55 lakh, establishing it as a big hit at the box office.

Veera Ma Archi Box Office: Budget vs. Earnings

Veera Ma Archi, an action-thriller starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina, is a Tamil film that was also dubbed and released in Telugu and Hindi. The film did not receive a strong response in Telugu, and its limited screen count in the Hindi market led to a complete washout there.

Produced on a substantial budget of ₹250 crore, Veera Ma Archi has been in cinemas for 25 days. However, in this period, the film failed to recover its budget and has been deemed a major flop at the box office.

The all-India net collection for Veera Ma Archi across all languages over 25 days is ₹96 crore 25 lakh, and its India gross collection is ₹114 crore 53 lakh. From overseas markets, the film collected ₹42 crore 87 lakh. Veera Ma Archi’s total worldwide box office collection for 25 days is ₹157 crore 40 lakh. Given its ₹250 crore budget, the film is confirmed as a big flop.
