Chhawa completed 16 days since its release, with collections remaining robust every day. In its first week, the film recorded an India Net collection of ₹225 crore 28 lakh. Despite new films being released and a reduction in screen count, Chhawa collected ₹186 crore 18 lakh India Net in its second week. This brought the film’s total India Net collection for the first two weeks to ₹411 crore 46 lakh.

As the third week began, more new Bollywood films were released, leading to a further reduction in Chhawa’s screen count. However, the film’s collections continued strongly. On its third Friday, which was the 15th day, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhawa film garnered an India Net collection of ₹13 crore 55 lakh. On the 16th day, a Saturday, the film’s morning shows saw improved occupancy, and bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows were exceptional. Chhawa is estimated to collect approximately ₹16.5 crore India Net on its 16th day.
Chhawa Film’s Total India Net Collections
With its 16th day collection, Chhawa’s cumulative India Net collection for the initial 16 days has reached ₹441 crore 51 lakh. The film is projected to surpass the ₹500 crore mark in India Net collections within the next two to three days. Notably, Chhawa is also approaching the ₹1 crore mark in Maharashtra alone, setting a significant record. The film’s makers decided to release it two months after its original planned clash with Pushpa 2, which proved to be a beneficial decision, as Chhawa is currently earning more than Pushpa 2 in several locations. Additionally, Chhawa is set to release in Telugu next Friday, with expectations of strong collections in that region.
Chhawa’s India Gross and Global Box Office Milestones
In terms of gross collections, Chhawa’s India gross has already exceeded ₹500 crore, reaching ₹525 crore 38 lakh. The film has also made a remarkable global impact. Within 16 days, Chhawa has officially entered the ₹600 crore club worldwide, with its total worldwide box office collection standing at ₹606 crore 64 lakh.

The film is not expected to slow down, with strong predictions that its final box office collection will be exceptional.
