Devara Box Office Collection Day 9: Worldwide Earnings & Jr NTR Performance

Devra Box Office Performance Nears ₹500 Crore Mark

Junior NTR’s film, Devra, is currently in its second week in cinemas and is approaching the ₹500 crore milestone at the box office. The action-drama-thriller, directed by Shiva Kotla and made on a budget of ₹300 crore, has garnered record-breaking worldwide collections across five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film has completed nine days in theaters.

Devra Hindi Box Office Collections

Devra saw a first-week Hindi net collection of ₹48 crore 27 lakh over its initial seven days. On its eighth day, the film earned ₹2 crore 82 lakh in the Hindi market. Reports for the ninth day, a Saturday, indicate a significant growth in the Hindi market compared to the previous day, with an estimated Hindi net collection of ₹3 crore 75 lakh. This brings Devra‘s total Hindi net collection over its first nine days to ₹54 crore 84 lakh. The Hindi gross collection stands at ₹65 crore 25 lakh, surpassing ₹65 crore in the Hindi market. The film is expected to cross the ₹100 crore mark in Hindi collections in the coming days.

During its release, Devra was launched on 6000 screens worldwide across its five languages. In the second week, while many new South Indian films led to a reduction in Devra‘s screen count in the South, its screen presence in the Hindi market remained unchanged. This has allowed Devra to continue dominating the Hindi market and prepare for strong earnings in its second week.

Devra Worldwide Box Office Collections (Producer Figures)

Based on producer figures, Devra achieved a remarkable opening with ₹172 crore worldwide on its first day. Within two days, the film’s worldwide box office collection exceeded ₹243 crore. By the end of its three-day opening weekend, Devra had accumulated a worldwide total of ₹304 crore.

Upon completing its first week (seven days), the film’s worldwide box office collection reached ₹405 crore. The eighth day saw a worldwide collection of ₹6 crore 96 lakh. For its ninth day, Devra is estimated to add approximately ₹9 crore 50 lakh to its global tally. This brings the movie’s total worldwide box office collection over its initial nine days to ₹422 crore 26 lakh, according to producer figures. The film is already considered a Super Duper Hit and is anticipated to soon achieve Blockbuster status, with its worldwide collection expected to surpass ₹500 crore shortly.

Collection Discrepancies and Industry Trends

It is noted that there is a common difference between producer and trade collection figures, a trend observed across various Bollywood and South Indian films. Producers of films like Kalki, Salaar, Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar, Animal, and Stree 2 have also presented their collections with slight increases. Devra‘s collections are also being reported based on producer figures, reflecting this industry practice.
