Devara Box Office Collection Report
The pan-India film Devara, released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, has completed four weeks in cinemas. The film’s budget was 300 crore. Devara demonstrated strong earnings not only in the South but also with its Hindi version.
Devra’s Weekly Box Office Performance
In its first week, Devara achieved an all-India gross collection of 293 crore 82 lakh. The second week saw the film’s gross collection in India reach 90 crore 38 lakh. In the third week, the collection experienced a slight dip, with all languages contributing 28 crore 91 lakh to the gross collection. Despite a significant reduction in screens, Devara managed to collect approximately 15 crore 72 lakh as an all-India gross collection in its fourth week.
Devara’s Total Worldwide Box Office Earnings
Across its initial four weeks, Devara‘s all-languages India gross collection stands at 428 crore 83 lakh. The overseas gross collection, as per the producer’s figures, has reached 107 crore 41 lakh. Consequently, Devara‘s total worldwide box office collection over 28 days (four weeks) has reached 536 crore 24 lakh. According to the producers, the film has earned over 536 crore globally, making it a super duper hit at the box office. The film is expected to continue its run for another week until Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 release for Diwali.
King: Anticipated Box Office Potential
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, has high box office expectations. Shah Rukh Khan’s previous films, Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, achieved historic worldwide collections. It is speculated that if King performs well, it could potentially earn 1000 crore at the box office, with the film’s title alone estimated to be worth 500 crore. The official announcement for King is anticipated on November 2nd.
Salaar Part One Box Office Success
Prashanth Neel’s directorial, Salaar, released last year, garnered over 700 crore in worldwide collections. This made the film a blockbuster at the box office.
Singham Again: Overseas Advance Booking & India Screen Dispute
Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, is set for a November 1st (Diwali) release. The overseas advance booking for Singham Again began two days ago in markets such as the UK, USA, Australia, Germany, and UAE. So far, the film has recorded an advance booking collection of $87,000, which converts to 2 crore 41 lakh in Indian currency. This overseas advance booking has commenced on 3400 screens. The film is expected to release on approximately 1500 screens internationally.
In India, the advance booking for Singham Again has not yet started. This delay is attributed to a dispute over screen allocation between the makers of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is also releasing for Diwali. Singham Again makers are seeking 3500 screens out of an estimated 5500 screens available in the North India (Hindi market), while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 makers are requesting 3000 screens. As a result of this disagreement, cinema halls have not yet opened advance bookings for either film in India. It remains to be seen which film will secure more screens and emerge as a bigger blockbuster during the Diwali period.
Raja Saab: Future Box Office Expectations
Prabhas’s upcoming film Raja Saab is scheduled for release on April 10th. There is an expectation that this film could become another blockbuster in Prabhas’s career.
