Stree 2 Box Office Performance
The Bollywood horror-comedy film Stree 2 is currently in its eighth week, having completed over 50 days in cinemas. The film received a record-breaking opening at the box office upon its release on August 15th. Stree 2 saw grand earnings in its first week, with collections remaining excellent every subsequent week. The film continues to make excellent earnings at the box office. Stree 2 secured an India net collection of ₹620 crore 26 lakh in its initial seven weeks. During its eighth weekend, encompassing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the film garnered ₹3 crore 11 lakh. With this, the film’s all-India net collection has reached ₹623 crore 37 lakh. The India gross collection stands at ₹735 crore 57 lakh. The overseas final box office collection for Stree 2 is ₹141 crore 43 lakh. The total worldwide box office collection for Stree 2 has reached ₹877 crore. With a budget of only ₹80 crore, the film has achieved an all-time mega blockbuster status at the box office.
Tayaa Advance Booking Report
The film Tayaa, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, is set for release in three days. Its advance booking in overseas markets commenced a week ago, while advance bookings in India have also begun. The film has received a grand response at the India box office since bookings opened. Tayaa’s advance booking is quite excellent. However, compared to Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Goat,’ which was also a major Tamil cinema film, Tayaa’s booking appears slightly weaker. Currently, the all-India advance booking for Tayaa stands at ₹1 crore 46 lakh. The film has earned ₹23 crore 68 lakh from overseas bookings. Thus, Tayaa’s total worldwide advance booking collection has reached ₹25 crore 14 lakh. The film is scheduled for release on October 10th.
Devara 11-Day Box Office Collections
The action-thriller film Devara, made on a budget of ₹300 crore, has completed 11 days in cinemas. Released worldwide in five languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada), the film saw tremendous earnings in its first week and collected well in its second weekend at the box office. The film’s Hindi collections have been much better than expected, and its Telugu version also performed well. However, the collections from its Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions were slightly less than anticipated.
Devara recorded a Hindi net collection of ₹53 crore 82 lakh within its initial 9 days. On its 10th day, the film earned ₹4 crore 2 lakh. On its 11th day, a Monday, the film’s occupancy was down by 50% compared to the previous day, with Devara earning approximately ₹3 crore in the Hindi market.
As a result, Devara’s Hindi net collection within the first 11 days has reached ₹69 crore 85 lakh, with a Hindi gross collection of ₹71 crore 22 lakh. The gross collection from South Indian languages is ₹277 crore 94 lakh. The all-India gross collection across all five languages stands at ₹349 crore 16 lakh. Additionally, the film has earned ₹92 crore 10 lakh from overseas markets. Devara’s total worldwide box office collection within the first 11 days has reached ₹441 crore 26 lakh. The film’s screens are expected to reduce significantly from its third week.
