Dhurandhar’s Explosive Box Office Opening
The film Dhurandhar delivered a surprising performance at the box office on its release. Initial predictions for the first day’s earnings were significantly surpassed, with the film making much more than anticipated and leaving everyone astonished. Furthermore, the film’s second-day collections saw a substantial increase, reflecting positive public reviews and indicating its potential to become another major Bollywood blockbuster of 2025. Positive public reviews were a contributing factor to the film’s strong opening.
Dhurandhar’s Robust Two-Day Global Earnings
Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt, was released worldwide across 5000 screens. On its first day, after a decent start in morning shows, the film experienced significant growth in afternoon, evening, and night show bookings. This led to an All India Net Collection of over ₹27 crore. On its second day, the film received even better occupancy in morning shows compared to the first day, with advanced bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows also improving. According to reports, Dhurandhar’s second-day India Net Collection stands at ₹31 crore 75 lakh.
With this, the film’s cumulative All India Net Collection for the initial two days reached ₹59 crore 22 lakh, translating to an India Gross Collection of ₹70 crore 96 lakh. The film also performed remarkably well in overseas markets, collecting approximately ₹16 crore 25 lakh. Consequently, Dhurandhar’s worldwide collection for the first two days totals ₹87 crore 21 lakh. This performance marks a solid comeback for Ranveer Singh at the box office.
Tere Ishq Mein Sustains Strong Box Office Performance
The romantic drama film Tere Ishq Mein, released last week on November 28th, is currently in its second weekend. With a budget of ₹95 crore, the film, featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, was initially released globally across a good number of screens in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages during its first week. However, in its second week, the release of Dhurandhar and other major South Indian films led to a reduction in its screen count in both Hindi and Southern markets.
Despite fewer screens, Tere Ishq Mein continues its strong collection trend. Its second Friday collections surpassed expectations. The film recorded an India Net Collection of ₹85 crore 66 lakh from all languages in its initial seven days. On its eighth day (second Friday), it collected ₹3 crore 71 lakh. Reports indicate that the film is earning approximately ₹4.5 crore on its ninth day (second Saturday) at the Indian box office, showing good growth in afternoon, evening, and night show bookings.
This brings Tere Ishq Mein’s total All India Net Collection for the first nine days to ₹93 crore 87 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹112 crore 38 lakh. The film has also performed well internationally, with updated overseas gross collections reaching ₹16 crore 73 lakh. Globally, Tere Ishq Mein’s worldwide collection for the initial nine days stands at ₹129 crore 11 lakh. The film has already been declared a box office superhit.
Dhurandhar’s Promising Future Box Office Outlook
Dhurandhar’s earnings in its first two days have been outstanding. With Sunday anticipated to bring an even bigger jump in collections compared to the first two days, the film is expected to maintain its strong performance for the initial three days. If the film continues to achieve double-digit collections even on Monday, it is poised to become a box office superhit. The lifetime box office collection for Dhurandhar remains a point of interest, with discussions on whether it will reach ₹200-250 crore or surpass ₹300-350 crore.
