Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 7 Worldwide: Ranveer Singh Starrer's Massive First Week Haul

Dhuranthar Box Office: Eight-Day Worldwide Collections

The film Dhurandhar has commenced its second week in cinemas, with its record-breaking earnings continuing at a fast pace. Remarkably, Dhurandhar’s collection currently surpasses the combined collections of all new films released this week. The film is trending in such a way that it is expected to continue earning at the box office for the next four to five weeks, with its final worldwide collection potentially reaching ₹1000 crore. Prior to its release, a lifetime collection of ₹200 crore was considered a significant achievement. However, the film’s first-day collections were explosive, and it continued with strong earnings on the second and third days, confirming a ₹500 crore collection. In its first week, the film’s collections did not drop on any single day. Hope has emerged that this film might even surpass ₹1000 crore, as its collections are not decreasing.

Despite a significant reduction in screens during its second week—almost 50% cut in the Hindi market and other states like Telugu, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka due to new releases—Dhurandhar made an explosive start to its second week. The morning shows on its second Friday saw impressive occupancy, with afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also being excellent.

For its initial six days, Dhurandhar collected an India Net of ₹188 crore 60 lakh. On its seventh day, the film achieved a record-breaking India Net collection of ₹28 crore 32 lakh. On its eighth day, Dhurandhar is estimated to collect an India Net of ₹24 crore 50 lakh. This brings the film’s total All India Net Collection over eight days to ₹241 crore 42 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹290 crore 37 lakh. The film has also performed strongly overseas, with an Overseas Gross Collection of ₹68 crore 24 lakh to date. Consequently, Dhurandhar’s total worldwide earnings over eight days stand at ₹357 crore 61 lakh, having surpassed the ₹350 crore mark worldwide in its first eight days. The combined budget for Dhurandhar Part One, which is running in cinemas, and Part Two, which is set for release next year, is ₹280 crore. The film has already crossed the ₹300 crore mark. With Saturday and Sunday being holidays, a substantial jump in collections is anticipated. It is expected to cross the ₹500 crore mark in the next two to four days. The lifetime collection of Dhurandhar is projected to be around ₹750-₹800 crore worldwide, with potential to enter the ₹1000 crore club.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Day 1 Box Office Report

The Bollywood romantic comedy-drama film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, featuring Kapil Sharma, Warina Hussain, Manjot Singh, Parul Gulati, Aisha Khan, and Tridha Choudhury, has been released this week. The film’s trailer did not receive a particularly strong response from the audience, and advance bookings were not favorable. Its box office opening is significantly lower compared to its first part, possibly due to Dhurandhar’s continued strong performance, which currently occupies most shows.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was released worldwide on 1800 screens with a budget of ₹50 crore. Before its release, the film’s makers had already recovered ₹45 crore through digital rights (₹23 crore), satellite rights (₹17 crore), and music rights (₹5 crore), leaving only ₹5 crore at stake. On its first day, despite being released on 1800 screens, the film had fewer per-day shows. Morning shows recorded an occupancy of 12-14%, with afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also not being very high.

The estimated India Net Collection for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 on its first day is ₹2 crore 75 lakh, resulting in an India Gross Collection of ₹3 crore 28 lakh. The film had a limited screen release overseas, where it collected approximately ₹1 crore 25 lakh on its first day. Thus, the total First Day Worldwide Box Office Collection for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 stands at ₹4 crore 54 lakh, collecting around ₹4.5 crore worldwide on its opening day against its ₹50 crore budget.

Akhanda 2 First Day Worldwide Box Office Performance

The action-drama film Akhanda 2, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Adi Samukta Menon, and Harshali Malhotra, has finally been released this week worldwide. The film was promoted significantly in Hindi, but it did not secure many screens in the Hindi market due to the release of Kapil Sharma’s film and Dhurandhar’s strong presence at the box office. Consequently, Akhanda 2 is not achieving significant collections in Hindi. However, its Telugu version has made an explosive start at the box office on its first day.

Akhanda 2 was released worldwide on 3000 screens across five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film has a total budget of ₹200 crore. Before its release, the makers had already recovered over ₹150 crore, including ₹85 crore from digital rights (across all five languages), ₹60 crore from satellite rights, and ₹10 crore from music rights, totaling ₹155 crore in pre-release recovery.

On its first day, Akhanda 2 received a fantastic response in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and also started with good occupancy in Karnataka. However, the film received limited screens in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and North India, where the response was not as favorable. The afternoon, evening, and night show bookings for its Telugu version were amazing. The estimated India Net Collection for Akhanda 2 on its first day is ₹26 crore 50 lakh, leading to an India Gross Collection of ₹31 crore 72 lakh. In the overseas market, the film has also seen a strong opening, with an estimated Overseas Gross Collection of ₹8 crore 50 lakh on its first day. This brings Akhanda 2’s total First Day Worldwide Box Office Collection to ₹40 crore 22 lakh. With a first-day worldwide collection of over ₹40 crore against a ₹200 crore budget, this marks a strong start for the film.
