Fighter Box Office: Strong Weekend and Fifth Day Performance
Superstar Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter film has shown consistent performance at the box office. The film garnered significant earnings during its initial four-day weekend, followed by strong collections on its fifth day, which was a Monday. Fighter was released on Thursday, January 25th.
Fighter’s Day-Wise Collection Trends
The film saw a good opening on its first day. The box office collections for the subsequent three days – Friday, January 26th; Saturday, January 27th; and Sunday, January 28th – surpassed the film’s opening day figures. Even on Monday, a working day, the film managed to maintain good occupancy in cinemas.
Fighter Film Budget and Earnings Overview
The budget for the Fighter film is approximately 250 crore rupees. The film’s earnings over five days are nearly on par with its budget. Despite being released only in Hindi, the film performed well in the pan-India market. Its overseas collection was also strong, particularly from North America, Australia, and USA, which saw some of the best collections of the year for the film, even after being banned in several Arab countries.
Fighter Box Office: Four-Day Worldwide Collection
During its four-day weekend, Fighter accumulated over 200 crore rupees globally. The total worldwide collection for the film after four days stood at 208 crore rupees.
Fighter’s Fifth Day Box Office Collections
On its fifth day, which was a working Monday, the film’s ticket rates were lower. Despite this, Fighter recorded a decent occupancy of 12 to 13 percent in its morning shows. Bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows also remained fair.
The film’s estimated India net collection for the fifth day is approximately 12 crore rupees, achieving a double-digit figure. The India gross collection for the fifth day is around 15 crore rupees.
In the overseas market, the film’s collections on its fifth day saw a drop, with estimated earnings of about 5 crore rupees.
Fighter’s Five-Day Total Worldwide Box Office
Combining its four-day weekend earnings with the fifth-day figures, Fighter recorded a worldwide collection of approximately 20 crore rupees on its fifth day. This brings the film’s total worldwide box office collection over five days to 228 crore rupees.
Fighter Box Office Outlook
Film collections are anticipated to decline further on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, a significant jump in earnings is expected with the start of the next weekend. No major Bollywood film is scheduled for release next week, which is likely to allow Fighter to continue its strong performance for at least two weeks, or 15 days, at the box office. With only five days passed, the film has the potential for even more impressive earnings in the next ten days.
Given its budget of 250 crore rupees and a five-day worldwide collection of 228 crore rupees, the film’s worldwide earnings could reach its budget within one or two more days. Within the coming week, Fighter is projected to earn even more than its budget, positioning it to become a major hit of the year.
