Guntur Kaaram Box Office Performance and Worldwide Collections
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film Guntur Kaaram, produced with a budget of ₹50 crore, achieved significant earnings in its initial 13 days despite facing strong competition from four to five other Telugu films, including Hanuman. The film, which received average reviews, saw its box office performance largely driven by Mahesh Babu’s star power.
Guntur Kaaram‘s All India Net Collection for the first 11 days stood at ₹131 crore 80 lakh. On its 12th day, the film collected an India Net Collection of ₹6 crore 11 lakh. For the 13th day, the reported All India Net Collection is ₹1 crore 50 lakh, bringing the total All India Net Collection for the first 13 days to ₹155 crore 42 lakh. The All India Gross Collection for the same period is ₹185 crore 26 lakh. Globally, the film has amassed a World Wide Box Office Collection of ₹237 crore in 13 days.
Hanuman Box Office Triumph: India and Global Collections
Prashanth Varma’s directorial Hanuman, starring Teja Sajja, was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Initially, the film faced tough competition in the Telugu states during its first week, resulting in fewer screen allocations due to other major releases. However, the film’s strong audience reception led to an increase in screen count and robust collections in its second week. Hanuman also performed exceptionally well in the Hindi market despite minimal promotion.
With an approximate budget of ₹50 crore, Hanuman recorded an All India Net Collection of ₹139 crore across all languages in its first 11 days. The film’s 12th-day India Net Collection was ₹5 crore 51 lakh. On its 13th day, Hanuman made an All India Net Collection of ₹4 crore 50 lakh. This totals the film’s India Net Collection for the first 13 days to ₹149 crore 1 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹177 crore 62 lakh. The 13-day World Wide Collection for Hanuman reached ₹230 crore.
Salaar Lifetime Box Office: Worldwide Earnings Revealed
Prabhas’s pan-India film Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, garnered significant box office collections across its Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada releases. The film faced substantial competition in the Hindi market from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which premiered a day before Salaar‘s release. Despite this, Salaar recorded strong earnings in the Hindi market and achieved historical collections in South Indian languages.
While Salaar is largely out of most South language markets, with limited screenings continuing in some Telugu states, its Hindi market shows are expected to conclude following the release of Fighter. The film’s lifetime box office figures indicate an All India Net Collection of ₹484 crore 11 lakh across all languages. The India Gross Collection for all languages stands at ₹578 crore. In the overseas market, Salaar‘s final gross collection was ₹153 crore. This brings Salaar‘s total World Wide Box Office Collection to ₹731 crore, securing a ‘superhit’ status in all languages.
Fighter Advance Booking: Strong Start for Hrithik Roshan Film
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, marks Bollywood’s first major film release of the year. The film has demonstrated a robust performance in its advance bookings.
Fighter‘s first-day advance booking collection in India amounted to ₹8 crore 93 lakh. The second day, corresponding to January 26th, showed an even stronger performance with an All India advance booking of ₹10 crore 22 lakh, surpassing the first day’s figures. This resulted in a combined All India advance booking of ₹19 crore 15 lakh for the initial two days. Additionally, the film secured an advance booking of ₹7 crore 43 lakh from the overseas market. Overall, Fighter‘s worldwide advance booking collection for the first two days reached ₹26 crore 58 lakh.
