Fighter Box Office Collection Day 5: Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone Worldwide Earnings

Fighter Box Office Performance and Trends

The film Fighter has completed six days in cinemas. It has shown strong earnings in India and performed even better than expected in overseas markets. The movie, released on January 25th, achieved a decent opening on its first day. Fighter also set a record as the biggest opener of 2024 for Bollywood on its release day. Collections saw a significant jump on the second day, January 26th. The film’s collections remained strong on the third and fourth days as well.

However, the Monday collections for Fighter dropped considerably in the Indian market. In the overseas market, the film maintained decent earnings on both its fifth and sixth days. The budget for Fighter is reported to be approximately 250 crore rupees. Initial expectations for the film’s lifetime worldwide collection were around 700-800 crore rupees, but current projections suggest that even reaching 500 crore rupees would be a significant achievement. Currently, Fighter is estimated to achieve a minimum ‘Superhit’ tag at the box office.

Fighter Day-Wise and Total Worldwide Collections

Fighter garnered over 200 crore rupees worldwide in its first four days. Specifically, the film collected 208 crore rupees globally in its initial four days. The fifth day, which was a Monday, saw a significant drop in occupancy, and ticket prices were also reduced. Fighter’s worldwide collection on its fifth day was 15 crore 10 lakh rupees.

On its sixth day, the film experienced an even larger drop, with occupancy reportedly falling by another 2-3% compared to the fifth day. For the sixth day, Fighter is estimated to have an India Net collection of approximately 7 crore rupees, with an India Gross collection of 8 crore 50 lakh rupees. Overseas markets are projected to contribute around 1 crore 50 lakh rupees on the sixth day. This brings Fighter’s estimated worldwide collection for the sixth day to approximately 10 crore rupees. Consequently, the total worldwide collection for Fighter over its first six days stands at 235 crore rupees. With a budget of 250 crore rupees, the film still needs to earn more to achieve a ‘Clean Hit’ status at the box office.

Guntur Kaaram Box Office Update

Mahesh Babu’s Telugu film Guntur Kaaram was made with a budget of approximately 150 crore rupees and released in a single language, Telugu. Despite this, it recorded the biggest opening of 2023 on its first day at the box office. The film had good collections in its first week, but earnings dropped significantly in the second week, and by the third week, the film’s performance declined considerably.

Guntur Kaaram has been in cinemas for approximately 19 days. Its total All India Net collection so far is 163 crore rupees, while the India Gross collection has reached 194 crore rupees. The film’s worldwide box office collection to date is 249 crore rupees, nearing the 250 crore mark. Given its budget of approximately 150 crore rupees and a worldwide collection of 250 crore rupees, Guntur Kaaram has officially earned a ‘Clean Hit’ tag at the box office. Future collections are expected to add only an additional 2-3 crore rupees, pushing the film’s final box office collection beyond the 250 crore mark.

Hanuman Box Office Dominance and Blockbuster Status

The Pan India film Hanuman, which released alongside Guntur Kaaram, has also completed 19 days in cinemas. With a budget of around 50 crore rupees, Hanuman’s earnings have been exceptional. The film has significantly outperformed Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram at the box office. In terms of 19-day collections, Hanuman’s earnings are considerably higher than Guntur Kaaram’s, despite Guntur Kaaram having a budget three times larger than Hanuman’s.

Hanuman, released in five languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada), recorded an All India Net collection of 125 crore 22 lakh rupees within its first 18 days. On its 19th day, the film is estimated to collect an India Net of 1 crore 50 lakh rupees. This brings Hanuman’s total All India Net collection for the first 19 days to 176 crore 72 lakh rupees. The India Gross collection stands at 210 crore 65 lakh rupees. The film’s worldwide box office collection has reached 267 crore rupees, solidifying its position as an ‘All Time Blockbuster’ globally.
