Gadar 2 Box Office Collections: Crosses ₹500 Crore India Net

Sunny Deol’s film Gadar 2 has finally surpassed the ₹500 crore mark at the Indian box office. Globally, the film has earned over ₹650 crore. The fourth-week weekend collections for Gadar 2 were described as remarkable. The film had an opening of more than ₹40 crore, with its first week collections being phenomenal and second week earnings described as dangerous. The film continues to make strong collections even into its fourth week.

Gadar 2 recorded an India net collection of ₹487 crore 65 lakh within its initial 22 days. On its 23rd day, the film collected ₹7 crore 10 lakh. Due to Sunday, Gadar 2 experienced a significant jump in its collections on its 24th day, with an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹10 crore. This strong performance, including a good response in morning shows and robust bookings for evening and night shows leading to several houseful shows in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, brings Gadar 2’s total all-India net collection to ₹504 crore 75 lakh, officially crossing the ₹500 crore milestone in India net collections. The film’s India gross collection stands at approximately ₹601 crore. Worldwide, Gadar 2 has garnered a total gross collection of ₹666 crore, achieving the tag of an All Time Mega Blockbuster.

Jawan Advance Booking Performance: Nearing ₹40 Crore Worldwide

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan has generated significant excitement with its advance bookings. In the first month of 2023 (January), Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan had achieved an India net collection of over ₹500 crore and a worldwide collection of ₹1000 crore. With two films, Gadar 2 and Pathaan, having already earned ₹500 crore India net this year, Jawan is now anticipated to potentially open the ₹600 crore club for India net collections. While Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan earned more than ₹500 crore, Jawan’s advance booking performance has been notably better than Pathaan’s, indicating the potential for Jawan to achieve an India net collection of ₹600 crore. For the weekend bookings, which include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the total India advance booking has reached ₹24 crore 30 lakh. Additionally, Jawan has secured ₹15 crore 64 lakh from overseas advance bookings. This brings Jawan’s worldwide total advance booking collection to ₹39 crore 94 lakh, nearly ₹40 crore, with three days remaining until its release.

OMG 2 Box Office Collection: Achieves Superhit Status

Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 continues to perform well, with its final collection in the fourth week expected to surprise. Despite receiving fewer screens initially, the film is maintaining good earnings as it enters its fourth week.

OMG 2 accumulated an all-India net collection of ₹147 crore 27 lakh within its first 22 days. On its 23rd day, the film added ₹1 crore 92 lakh to its tally. The 24th day saw OMG 2 collecting approximately ₹2 crore, pushing its total all-India net collection to ₹151 crore 9 lakh. This means the film has crossed the ₹150 crore mark in India net collections. Its India gross collection is ₹180 crore, and the worldwide total gross collection stands at ₹222 crore. OMG 2 has been declared a Superhit at the box office.

Khushi Box Office Report: ₹64 Crore Worldwide in 3 Days

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s pan-India film Khushi, released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, has shown varied performance across markets. The film has earned the most from its Telugu version, with decent collections from other South Indian languages. However, Khushi has been a complete disaster in the Hindi market.
