Superstar Sunny Deol’s film Gadar 2 achieved historic earnings at the box office, breaking thousands of records. The film has been in cinemas for nearly four weeks. Since its release, Gadar 2 has consistently broken collection records day after day. The film earned more than 10 times its budget, securing an “all-time blockbuster” tag at the box office.
Gadar 2 Day-Wise and Weekly Collections
Released on August 11, Gadar 2 opened with 40 crore on its first day. In its first week, covering seven days, the film recorded an India Net Collection of 284 crore 63 lakh. The strong performance continued into the second week, where it accumulated an India Net Collection of 134 crore 47 lakh. Despite a significant reduction in screens in its third week, Gadar 2 continued to earn, making an India Net Collection of 63 crore 35 lakh.
Gadar 2 Fourth Week Collections
In its fourth week, Gadar 2’s collections started to drop, yet maintained a notable pace. On its 22nd day, the film earned an India Net Collection of 5 crore 20 lakh. The 23rd day saw collections of 5 crore 72 lakh, followed by 7 crore 80 lakh on the 24th day. The 25th day recorded 3 crore 50 lakh, the 26th day 2 crore 70 lakh, and the 27th day an India Net Collection of 2 crore 50 lakh.
Gadar 2 Total Worldwide Box Office
The cumulative India Net Collection for Gadar 2 stands at 509 crore 67 lakh. Its India Gross Collection reached 607 crore. The film’s overseas collections contributed 68 crore. Combining the India Gross Collection and overseas earnings, Gadar 2’s total worldwide gross collection is 675 crore, marking a spectacular earning of nearly 700 crore globally and confirming its “all-time blockbuster” status.
Jawan Sets Advance Booking Records
Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan also shattered all records at the box office. The film broke the advance booking record previously held by Gadar, becoming the highest advance booking grosser of 2023. Jawan demonstrated strong performance from the South languages.
Jawan First Day Advance Booking Collections
For its first day, Jawan’s India advance booking from Tamil and Telugu languages amounted to 3 crore 40 lakh. From the Hindi market, the film’s advance booking reached 27 crore 30 lakh. This brought the total first day advance booking across all three languages to 30 crore 70 lakh, meaning Jawan secured over 30 crore from advance bookings for its opening day alone.
Jawan Weekend and Worldwide Advance Booking
The total all-India advance booking for Jawan for the weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) reached 48 crore 55 lakh. Internationally, Jawan garnered 20 crore 21 lakh from advance bookings. The total worldwide advance booking for Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan for the weekend stands at 68 crore 76 lakh. The film’s weekend advance booking worldwide exceeded 68 crore. Based on these tremendous advance bookings, it is estimated that Jawan could achieve a minimum worldwide collection of 120 crore on its first day of release.
