On the 20th day, a significant jump was observed due to the Raksha Bandhan holiday, with the film collecting ₹9.20 crore. On the 21st day, benefiting from another major holiday, Gadar 2 earned approximately ₹10.50 crore. With this, the film’s India Net Collection has reached ₹485 crore up to three weeks. The India Gross Collection is ₹577 crore. The overseas collection for Gadar 2 is ₹63 crore. The total World Wide Box Office Collection for Gadar 2 stands at ₹640 crore. In three weeks, Gadar 2 has become an All-Time Blockbuster globally, with earnings of approximately ₹640 crore. The film is expected to begin its fourth week tomorrow.
Dream Girl 2: First Week Box Office Collections
Ayushmann Khurrana’s comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 recorded an India Net Collection of ₹46.13 crore in its initial four days. The film’s fifth-day collection was ₹5.87 crore. On the sixth day, a substantial growth in collections was observed due to the Raksha Bandhan holiday, with the film achieving an India Net Collection of ₹8 crore. On its seventh day, Dream Girl 2 continued its strong run, with reports indicating an India Net Collection of ₹10 crore. This brings Dream Girl 2’s total India Net Collection for its first seven days to ₹70 crore. The India Gross Collection is ₹83.50 crore. From the overseas market, the film has earned ₹12.50 crore. Dream Girl 2’s World Wide Gross Collection has reached ₹96 crore. Within its first week (seven days), Dream Girl 2 has become a Superhit at the box office, with global earnings of ₹96 crore.
Jailer: A Mega Blockbuster Box Office Run
Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Jailer has completed three weeks in cinemas, with its fourth week starting today. Despite entering its fourth week, Jailer’s box office collections continue to be impressive day by day. The film’s India Net Collection over 20 days was ₹348 crore. On the 21st day, Jailer collected ₹4.50 crore. A holiday on the 22nd day led to another significant jump in collections, with the film earning ₹5.50 crore. As a result, Jailer’s India Net Collection for its first 22 days stands at ₹358 crore. The India Gross Collection is ₹426 crore. From the overseas market, the film has accumulated ₹198 crore. Jailer’s World Wide Total Gross Collection has now reached ₹626 crore. With its outstanding global earnings of ₹626 crore, Jailer has become an All-Time Mega Blockbuster at the box office.
OMG 2: Box Office Performance Amidst Competition
Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 has also completed three weeks in cinemas. Despite facing competition from multiple films, receiving an A certificate, and having fewer screens, the film’s collections have been remarkable. OMG 2 achieved an India Net Collection of ₹138 crore in its initial 18 days. On the 19th day, the film earned ₹1.70 crore, followed by ₹2.30 crore on the 20th day. The 21st day saw a slight growth in collections, with OMG 2 achieving an India Net Collection of approximately ₹3 crore. This brings the total India Net Collection for OMG 2 to ₹145.10 crore. Salaar: Advance Booking Sets New Records
Prabhas’s film Salaar is still over a month away from its theatrical release, but it has already started breaking box office records. The advance booking for Salaar began a week ago in the USA. Salaar has set a major record in US advance bookings, having collected $500,000 so far. This amount translates to ₹4.14 crore in Indian currency. Despite being a month away from release and with the trailer still five days away from release (expected on September 6), the film has already secured over ₹4 crore in overseas bookings. It is projected that Salaar could potentially earn ₹200 crore on its opening day at the box office.
