Following strong reviews and good audience reception, the film’s second-day collections saw considerable growth, with morning show occupancy up by approximately 24% compared to the previous day. As per reports, Dream Girl 2 is collecting an All India Net Collection of ₹11.50 Crore on its second day. This brings the film’s initial two-day India Net Collection to ₹20.80 Crore, with an India Gross Collection of approximately ₹25 Crore. The film has also garnered around ₹6.5 Crore from the Overseas market. Consequently, Dream Girl 2‘s initial two-day World Wide Collection stands at ₹31.50 Crore. With a budget of ₹35 Crore, the film is poised to achieve a “Hit” status at the box office within just three to four days.
Jailer Box Office: An All-Time Blockbuster
Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Jailer is currently in its third week in cinemas. Despite a reduction in screens due to the release of many new Tamil and Telugu films in its third week, Jailer continues its explosive earning streak.
The film’s first-week World Wide Collection was ₹450.80 Crore. In its second week, the film added ₹124.18 Crore to its World Wide Collection. On its third Friday, Jailer collected a World Wide total of ₹7.77 Crore. For its third Saturday, reports indicate that Jailer is earning approximately ₹9 Crore globally. With these figures, Jailer‘s total World Wide Collection has reached ₹591.65 Crore, solidifying its status as an “All-Time Blockbuster” at the box office.
Salaar Part 1: The Cease Fire Advance Booking Update
Prabhas’s Salaar Part 1: The Cease Fire, directed by Prashanth Neel, is set to release on September 28. The film’s advance booking in the USA began four days ago and has shown a record-breaking response. With approximately one month still remaining until its release, Salaar has already earned $265,000 from advance bookings in the USA, which translates to roughly ₹2.19 Crore in Indian currency.
OMG 2 Box Office Performance Continues Strong
Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 is also in its third week in cinemas. Despite having very few screens remaining, it continues to register housefull shows on these limited screens. Reports suggest that OMG 2 is collecting an India Net Collection of ₹3.50 Crore on its 16th day. This brings the film’s total India Net Collection to ₹132.47 Crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹158 Crore. The film has also collected ₹31 Crore from the Overseas market. Cumulatively, OMG 2‘s World Wide Collection stands at ₹189 Crore. With a budget of ₹50-60 Crore, OMG 2 has been declared a “Super Duper Hit” at the box office.

This brings Gadar 2‘s total All India Net Collection to ₹435.60 Crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹518 Crore. The film has collected ₹52 Crore from the Overseas market. As a result, Gadar 2‘s World Wide Collection has reached ₹570 Crore. It is projected that the film’s World Wide Collection will surpass ₹600 Crore within the next two to three days. The film’s final collection is expected to surprise everyone.
