Built on a budget of ₹145 crore, the film has already surpassed the ₹200 crore mark in its worldwide box office collection. The film’s total worldwide collection over 20 days stands at approximately ₹205 crore 90 lakh.
In its initial 18 days, Thama registered an India net collection of ₹148 crore 36 lakh. On its 19th day, the film added ₹1 crore 51 lakh to its India net collection. Reports indicate that Thama is collecting approximately ₹1 crore 75 lakh on its 20th day at the Indian box office. With these figures, the film’s total all-India net collection for the first 20 days has reached ₹151 crore 62 lakh, officially crossing the ₹150 crore milestone in India net collection. The India gross collection for Thama is ₹181 crore 56 lakh. Despite initial expectations for higher earnings, the film has performed strongly, earning over ₹205 crore worldwide against its ₹145 crore budget. On its 20th day, morning shows saw slightly better occupancy compared to the previous day, with a slight growth in afternoon, evening, and night show bookings.
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Performance: A Superhit Run
The romantic drama thriller, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, also released on October 21 with a budget of ₹35 crore and is in its third week. Despite a limited screen release, the film has achieved significant earnings, becoming a superhit film of the year. The film’s worldwide box office collection over 20 days has reached ₹114 crore 50 lakh.
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat had already accumulated an India net collection of over ₹80 crore in its first 18 days. On its 19th day, it collected ₹1 crore 27 lakh at the Indian box office. Current reports suggest an estimated collection of approximately ₹1 crore 50 lakh on its 20th day in the Indian market. This brings the film’s all-India net collection for the first 20 days to ₹82 crore 78 lakh. Jannayagand Pre-Release Box Office: ₹260 Crore Earned Before Debut
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Jannayagand, slated for a multi-language release on January 9, 2026, has already made substantial earnings before its theatrical debut. The film has garnered over ₹200 crore from various rights sales. Its digital rights (OTT) were acquired by Amazon Prime for ₹110 crore. The theatrical rights for Tamil Nadu and Kerala have been sold for ₹115 crore. Additionally, T-Series secured the music rights across all languages for ₹35 crore.
Cumulatively, Jannayagand’s makers have recovered ₹260 crore before its release through the sale of digital, Tamil Nadu/Kerala theatrical, and music rights. The theatrical rights for North India, Telugu states, and remaining parts of Kerala and Karnataka are yet to be sold, as are the satellite rights. It is projected that the film may earn more than its budget even before its release. Upon its release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, Jannayagand is expected to collect at least ₹150 crore on its first day at the box office. If the film receives positive reviews, its lifetime box office collection could potentially reach ₹500 to ₹700 crore.
Haq Box Office Collection: Strong Weekend Growth for Social Drama
The recently released social drama Haq is showing promising box office performance. Despite a slow start on its first day, the film has received super positive reviews from audiences and is considered one of the best movies of the year.

Reports indicate that Haq is collecting approximately ₹4 crore 25 lakh on its third day in India. The film’s all-India net collection for the first three days stands at ₹9 crore 73 lakh. Its India gross collection is ₹11 crore 65 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Haq over its first three days is ₹13 crore 27 lakh. The film demonstrated strong growth over the weekend, with morning show occupancy on the third day being higher than on the first and second days, and afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also showing considerable strength. To be considered a hit, Haq needs to achieve a lifetime box office collection of at least ₹50 to ₹60 crore.
