Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan, released on Thursday, September 7, has achieved massive box office collections in just nine days. The film’s collection has surpassed expectations, setting new box office records that pose a challenge for upcoming films. Jawan has earned significantly both in India and overseas.
Jawan’s Record-Breaking Opening and Weekend Performance
Made on a budget of 300 crore, Jawan secured Bollywood’s biggest opening upon its release. The film continued its strong performance during the weekend. Contrary to predictions of a drop during weekdays, Jawan’s earnings have remained robust, establishing new records daily at the box office.
Jawan Day-Wise India Net Collections
In its initial four-day weekend, Jawan collected over 286 crore India Net across all three languages. On its fifth day, Monday, the film’s India Net Collection was 32 crore 92 lakh. The sixth day saw an India Net Collection of approximately 26 crore, followed by 23 crore 20 lakh on the seventh day. The eighth day’s India Net Collection remained in the 20 crore range. As per current reports, Jawan is estimated to collect 18 crore 50 lakh as its India Net Collection on the ninth day. The film maintained good occupancy in morning shows, with only a 5-6% drop compared to the previous day, and also received strong bookings for evening and night shows.
Total India Box Office: Net and Gross Milestones
Within its first nine days, Jawan has surpassed 400 crore in India Net Collection, reaching a total of 407 crore. This achievement makes Shah Rukh Khan the first star to deliver two films with over 400 crore India Net Collection within a single year, following Pathaan’s previous collection of over 500 crore India Net. The total India Gross Collection for Jawan in nine days stands at 485 crore. The film’s India Net Collection is projected to potentially reach 600 crore.
Jawan’s Overseas and Worldwide Box Office Tally
Jawan has garnered 233 crore from overseas markets to date. Combining its India Gross and overseas collections, Jawan’s total worldwide gross collection after nine days has reached 718 crore. The film has successfully crossed the 700 crore mark globally in just nine days.
Future Box Office Projections for Jawan
With Saturday and Sunday approaching, significant growth in Jawan’s collection is anticipated over the next two days. There are expectations that Jawan could potentially cross the 1000 crore mark in the worldwide market within five to six days, possibly even within a week.
