The action-drama film Gadar 2, released on August 11, has achieved explosive collections over four weeks. The film completed four weeks in cinemas with a historical performance, with collections expected to remain strong in its fifth week.

Gadar 2 secured an India net collection of ₹284 crore 63 lakh in its first week. By the end of two weeks, its earnings reached ₹419 crore 10 lakh, and after three weeks, the film collected ₹482 crore 45 lakh. The film’s India net collection stood at ₹511 crore after four weeks, with an India gross collection of ₹609 crore.

Additionally, Gadar 2 earned ₹69 crore from overseas markets. With these figures, Gadar 2’s total worldwide gross collection has reached ₹678 crore. The film has emerged as an All Time Mega Blockbuster at the box office.

Jawan’s Record-Breaking Opening Day

Bollywood film Jawan made record-breaking earnings right after its release. The film, with a budget of ₹300 crore, was released in three languages. It achieved a historical opening in the Hindi market and received a record-breaking response in both its Tamil and Telugu versions.

Jawan saw cinemas almost housefull throughout its first day, leading to a new record in Bollywood history for its first-day collection. The film has become Bollywood’s biggest opener, breaking Shah Rukh Khan’s own film Pathaan’s record.

On its first day, the Tamil version of Jawan grossed ₹5 crore 95 lakh, while the Telugu version collected ₹4 crore 75 lakh. The Hindi version recorded a net collection of ₹65 crore and a gross collection of ₹77 crore 50 lakh. Jawan’s total India net collection across all three languages for its first day stands at ₹74 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹86 crore 20 lakh.

From overseas markets, Jawan earned an early estimated ₹52 crore on its first day. Consequently, the film’s first-day worldwide collection totals ₹140 crore, solidifying its position as Bollywood’s biggest opener.
