Superstar Akshay Kumar’s film Jolly LLB 3 has shown remarkable performance, having crossed the ₹100 crore mark globally within just five days of its release. The film’s early run saw spectacular collections during its first weekend. However, the collections experienced a slight downturn during the weekdays compared to initial expectations. Despite this, the film is anticipated to maintain strong performance in its first week and is expected to make significant earnings in its second week due to the absence of major new Bollywood releases. The film is projected to potentially cross ₹200 crore in total earnings.
The three-day India net collection for Jolly LLB 3 stood at ₹53 crore 50 lakh. On its fourth day, the film collected ₹5 crore 85 lakh net in India. As per reports, the estimated India net collection for its fifth day is ₹6 crore 25 lakh. This brings the total five-day India net collection to ₹65 crore 60 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹79 crore 14 lakh. The film’s overseas gross collection has reached ₹21 crore 38 lakh. Cumulatively, Jolly LLB 3‘s worldwide collection for the first five days is ₹100 crore 52 lakh.
Mirai: 12-Day Global Box Office Performance
The action-adventure fantasy thriller Mirai, released across multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, was produced on a budget of ₹60 crore. The film’s first-week box office collections were exceptional. In its second week, despite a reduced number of screens, Mirai has maintained decent earnings, with strong collections on weekdays.
Within its initial 10 days, Mirai recorded an India net collection of ₹83 crore 47 lakh. On its 11th day, which was the second Monday, the film earned ₹6 crore 68 lakh from the Indian box office across all languages. The estimated India net collection for its 12th day is approximately ₹2 crore 50 lakh. This brings Mirai‘s total India net collection over 12 days to ₹88 crore 65 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹105 crore 48 lakh. The film has also performed strongly overseas, achieving an overseas gross collection of ₹31 crore 73 lakh. In total, Mirai‘s worldwide collection for the first 12 days stands at ₹137 crore 21 lakh, making it a major box office hit. The lifetime box office collection for the film is projected to reach around ₹200 crore across all languages.
OG Film: First Day Worldwide Advance Booking
Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi’s film OG is set to release on September 25th. The advance bookings for the film have commenced in India and overseas, receiving an impressive response.
For its first day, the India advance booking collection for OG in South Indian languages alone has reached ₹16 crore 73 lakh, with Hindi bookings yet to open. The overseas advance booking for the first day is ₹9 crore 12 lakh. Consequently, OG‘s first-day worldwide advance booking collection has totaled ₹45 crore 85 lakh, achieved two days before its theatrical release.
