Kalki 2898 AD: Global Box Office Advance Booking Phenomenon
Kalki, even before its official release, has already accumulated over 100 crore in worldwide box office earnings. This showcases a significant trend, as many films from Bollywood and South Indian cinema typically take weeks to achieve a 100 crore collection at the box office. Kalki has reached this milestone solely through its advance bookings, highlighting the film’s pre-release performance. Consequently, Kalki has become the highest-earning film in Indian cinema in terms of advance booking collections.

However, it is now anticipated that Kalki will completely surpass RRR’s opening day figures, potentially setting a new record for the biggest opening in Indian cinema for Prabhas. Kalki is slated for a worldwide release across 10,000 screens in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Advance ticket sales have been remarkably strong, with overseas bookings commencing two months prior, while bookings in India began only three days ago.
