Pan India Superstar Prabhas has demonstrated his standing, as Kalki, made on a budget of 600 crore, is set to release in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. With two days remaining until its release, the film has already garnered significant collections in advance booking. This collection surpasses the first-day figures of many Bollywood films in advance booking alone. In terms of advance booking collections, Prabhas’s Kalki has already broken records set by major films from both Bollywood and South Indian cinema. It appears Kalki is poised to achieve the biggest opening in the history of Indian cinema.
Kalki Advance Booking: Language and Region Trends
Advance booking for Kalki has commenced across all five languages, receiving a tremendous response overall. The film’s primary market, Telugu, has shown a record-breaking response. The Hindi market also witnessed a very strong response, with bookings fully starting from yesterday evening. However, the Tamil and Malayalam versions have not received as strong a response. Despite this, Kalki is prepared to make record-breaking collections specifically in the Telugu states, North India (Hindi market), and Karnataka.

Looking at the area-wise gross advance booking collections for Kalki, in Prabhas’s main market, the Telugu states, Kalki has collected 23 crore 41 lakh. For Tamil Nadu, the booking stands at 1 crore 92 lakh. Karnataka has contributed 4 crore 18 lakh in advance bookings. The lowest response was observed in Kerala, with advance bookings reaching only 80 lakh so far. In North India, covering the Hindi market, where the film is released on approximately 3000 screens, Kalki has earned 5 crore 71 lakh in advance booking.
Kalki’s Worldwide Total Advance Booking
Combining all five languages, Kalki’s total advance booking across India has reached 35 crore 2 lakh. This means the film’s weekend booking across India has exceeded 35 crore. For overseas markets, Kalki has earned 3.78 million dollars in advance bookings, which translates to 31 crore 52 lakh in Indian currency. Therefore, the total worldwide advance booking collection for Kalki stands at 66 crore 54 lakh. This significant collection was achieved with a full two days still remaining until the film’s release. Given the record-breaking booking response, it is evident that Kalki will achieve the biggest opening of the year.
