Munjya Box Office: Seven-Day Collections and Performance
The horror-drama film Munjya has completed its first week in cinemas. The film has already surpassed many expectations for its lifetime collection within its first week. Collections have shown daily improvement, and the film is projected to continue its strong box office run for at least two more weeks. Munjya earned ₹28.36 crore within its initial five days. On its sixth day, the film collected ₹4.15 crore. The seventh day saw a slight drop in occupancy compared to the previous day, with collections still in the ₹4 crore range. The seven-day India net collection for Munjya stands at ₹36.61 crore. The India gross collection reached ₹43.55 crore, and its first-week worldwide box office collection is ₹45.38 crore. Munjya has been declared a box office hit and is expected to achieve ‘Superhit’ status soon.
Chandu Champion Advance Booking Report
With just one day left until its worldwide release, Chandu Champion’s advance booking collections have been disappointing. Despite initial expectations for a bumper opening and a potential ‘Superhit’ status for Kartik Aaryan, the film’s advance booking, which commenced four days ago, has not met expectations. The first-day advance booking for Chandu Champion currently stands at ₹1.85 crore, including blocked seats. For the weekend (three days), the all-India advance booking has only reached ₹2.51 crore. The current advance booking trend suggests that the film may struggle to secure a big opening at the box office.
Kalki Advance Booking: Impressive Overseas Figures
Two weeks before its release, the big-budget film Kalki has already generated astonishing box office earnings through advance bookings. Its advance booking figures have already exceeded the opening collections of 95% of Bollywood films released this year. Even before the trailer release, Kalki received a magnificent response in advance bookings, which further accelerated after the trailer launched. While India’s advance booking has not yet commenced, overseas bookings began approximately five to six days ago in the USA and Canada. Bookings have now also opened in the UK, Australia, and Gulf Countries, receiving a blockbuster response from these markets.
Kalki’s advance booking in the USA has reached $1.30 million. The UK contributed $28,000, Australia $16,000, Gulf Countries $2,000, and Canada $2. The total overseas advance booking for Kalki across all countries stands at $1.46 million, which converts to approximately ₹12 crore in Indian currency. With 14 days remaining until release, the film has already garnered ₹12 crore from advance bookings, indicating a strong performance. Based on these solid advance booking trends, Kalki is projected to achieve a worldwide opening of ₹100 crore upon its release on June 27th.
Pushpa 2 Release Date Update and Khel Khel Mein Box Office Slot
Pushpa One, released in 2021, achieved excellent worldwide earnings and was a blockbuster in the Hindi market. Pushpa 2 is highly anticipated, with expectations to collect up to ₹500 crore from the Hindi market alone. However, Pushpa 2 will not be released on August 15th. This change is 100% confirmed due to ongoing shooting schedules that prevent its completion before the August 15th target. Following this development, the film Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar, will now be released on August 15th. John Abraham’s film Vedaa is also scheduled for release on the same date.
