Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office Performance: Third Week Surge
The horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, released on Diwali on November 1st, is currently in its third week in cinemas. The film’s box office collections initially lagged behind Singham Again in the first week. However, during the second week, its collections began to match Singham Again. Notably, as the third week commenced, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s collections started performing even better than Singham Again.
Despite facing a large film like Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has achieved spectacular earnings at the box office, becoming Kartik Aaryan’s biggest blockbuster of his career so far. With a reported budget of approximately 1 crore, the film has nearly reached the 400 crore mark worldwide. Projections indicate that its worldwide box office collection will soon exceed 500 crore.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: 18-Day Worldwide Collections
The film’s India net collection within the first 16 days was 245 crore 51 lakh. On its third Sunday, the 17th day, it collected 6 crore 48 lakh net. For its 18th day, a Monday, occupancy saw a 40% drop compared to the previous day, and ticket rates were reduced. Consequently, the film is estimated to earn approximately 2 crore 60 lakh on its 18th day.
This brings Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s total India net collection over 18 days to 254 crore 61 lakh. The India gross collection stands at 302 crore 98 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has accumulated a total of 80 crore 43 lakh. Cumulatively, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s worldwide box office collection for the initial 18 days is 383 crore 41 lakh, exceeding 383 crore globally. It is projected to cross the 400 crore mark worldwide very soon. The film has been declared a blockbuster at the box office.
Singham Again Box Office Collections: Continued Strong Run
Superstar Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, also released on Diwali, continues to make spectacular earnings at the box office. The film, a part of the Cop Universe, was made on a budget of 350 crore and featured a large ensemble cast. Released on November 1st, Singham Again took the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career, with a blockbuster weekend collection and strong worldwide earnings in its first week.
A box office clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 meant Singham Again received fewer screens than expected. This contributed to a trend where its collections in the second and third weeks were lower compared to its powerful first-week performance. Despite completing 18 days in cinemas, the film is still going strong at the box office. It is anticipated that Singham Again will continue its run until the release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule, with its final collection expected to be record-breaking.
Singham Again: 18-Day Worldwide Box Office Totals
Singham Again recorded an India net collection of 247 crore 82 lakh within its first 16 days. On its third Sunday, the 17th day, the film earned 4 crore 23 lakh. For its 18th day, a Monday, the film experienced a significant drop in occupancy compared to the previous day, with ticket rates also reduced. Based on current reports, Singham Again is estimated to collect approximately 2 crore 20 lakh on its 18th day.
This pushes Singham Again’s total India net collection over 18 days to 254 crore 25 lakh. The India gross collection has reached 302 crore 55 lakh, surpassing the 300 crore mark in India gross collections. The film has garnered 76 crore 35 lakh from overseas markets. In total, Singham Again’s worldwide box office collection after 18 days stands at 378 crore 90 lakh. It is projected to cross the 400 crore mark worldwide in the coming days. Both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are expected to earn 400 crore worldwide.
Kanguva Box Office: Decent Hindi Performance, Strong Worldwide
The pan-India film Kanguva, starring Surya and Bobby Deol, delivered a decent performance in the Hindi market, but its worldwide box office collection has been explosive. The 350 crore budget film was released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. On its opening day, Kanguva secured the biggest opening of Surya’s career. While the first-day collection could have been even better given the film’s budget, Kanguva did decent business in the Hindi market, and its South collections remained quite spectacular despite negative reviews. The film was extensively promoted in the Hindi market and released on a large number of screens, contributing to strong earnings from the Hindi market.
Kanguva: 5-Day Hindi and Worldwide Collections
For its Hindi collections, Kanguva achieved an India net collection of 8 crore 63 lakh within the first three days. On the fourth day, it added 3 crore 17 lakh. On the fifth day, a Monday, the Hindi version experienced a significant drop, with estimated earnings of approximately 1 crore 80 lakh. This results in a total Hindi net collection of 13 crore 60 lakh over five days, and a Hindi gross collection of 16 crore 18 lakh. The Hindi theatrical rights for Kanguva were sold for 53 crore, implying the film would need a minimum net collection of around 50 crore in the Hindi market to be declared a hit, which currently appears somewhat challenging.
Based on producer figures, Kanguva’s worldwide collections are as follows:
- Day 1 Worldwide Collection: 58 crore 62 lakh
- Day 2 Worldwide Collection: 30 crore 70 lakh
- Total 2-Day Worldwide Collection: 89 crore 32 lakh
- Day 3 Worldwide Collection: 38 crore 32 lakh
- Total 3-Day Worldwide Collection: 127 crore 64 lakh
- Day 4 Worldwide Collection: Approximately 36 crore 21 lakh
- Day 5 Worldwide Collection (all languages, estimated): Approximately 8.5 crore
This brings Kanguva’s five-day worldwide total box office collection to 172 crore 35 lakh, surpassing 172 crore globally according to producer figures. Given its 350 crore budget, the film still needs to earn considerably more to achieve a ‘hit’ status at the box office. Notably, its digital theatrical rights were already sold for a price higher than the budget.
Pushpa 2: The Rule Box Office Predictions
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is poised to completely demolish all box office records. The film is set to release on December 5th. It is strongly predicted that Pushpa 2’s worldwide collection will exceed 1000 crore. The film is expected to 100% earn 1000 crore, and if it performs exceptionally well, it could potentially earn 1200-1500 crore. There is also a possibility that if the film is very good, it might even break the records of Baahubali 2.
Allu Arjun has a full chance to break the record of RRR, Indian cinema’s biggest opener. If the film turns out to be a blockbuster, it might break the records of Baahubali 2 or even Dangal. It is confirmed that when Pushpa 2 releases on December 5th, cinemas will be completely housefull. Speculations for its first-day opening at the box office range from 200 crore, 250 crore, 270 crore, or even 300 crore rupees.
