Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office: 15-Day Worldwide Collections
The Bollywood horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, made on a budget of 150 crore, was released on Diwali, achieving Kartik Aaryan’s career’s biggest opening. In its first week, the film earned more than its budget. The second week also saw better-than-expected earnings. Despite initial concerns that third-week collections might drop, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has started its third week with a strong performance. The film had already crossed the 350 crore mark worldwide two days prior to the current report.
As of 15 days, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s total worldwide box office collection stands at 360 crore 71 lakh. On its first day, the film recorded an India Net Collection of 36 crore 60 lakh. Its India Net Collection for the first week was 168 crore 8 lakh, which is Kartik Aaryan’s career’s highest first-week collection. In the second week, the film maintained a strong hold at the box office, with an India Net Collection of 65 crore 68 lakh. Despite a slight reduction in screens this week due to a new Bollywood release, the film’s collections have not seen a significant drop. The reported net collection for the 15th day is approximately 3 crore 50 lakh.
Cumulatively, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s All India Net Collection for the first 15 days totals 238 crore 14 lakh, and its India Gross Collection is 283 crore 28 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has earned a total of 77 crore 43 lakh so far. Having earned over 360 crore worldwide in 15 days against its 150 crore budget, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has emerged as a super duper hit at the box office. An increase in earnings is anticipated for the upcoming Saturday and Sunday.
Singham Again Box Office: 15-Day Global Earnings Update
The Bollywood action film Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar, was released on Diwali. The film’s first-day collection was Ajay Devgan’s career’s highest, and it saw explosive earnings in its first week. However, the film’s screen count was reduced in its second week and further decreased as it entered its third week.
Despite the reduction in screens, Singham Again continues to collect crores daily. The film recorded an India Net Collection of 43 crore 70 lakh on its first day. For its initial seven days, the first week’s India Net Collection stood at 186 crore 60 lakh, also marking Ajay Devgan’s career’s highest first-week collection. In its second week, with fewer screens, the film achieved an India Net Collection of 54 crore 73 lakh. On its third Friday, the 15th day, Singham Again is reportedly collecting approximately 3 crore 25 lakh net from India.
Cumulatively, Singham Again’s All India Net Collection for the first 15 days is 244 crore 58 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of 291 crore 5 lakh. The film has earned a total of 73 crore 65 lakh from the overseas market. Its worldwide box office collection for the first 15 days has reached 364 crore 70 lakh. The film has a budget of 50 crore, and its makers had already recovered more than 100 crore by selling digital, satellite, and music rights before release. Significant jumps in collections are expected for the coming Saturday and Sunday.
Kanguva Box Office: Initial Two-Day Worldwide Collections
The film Kanguva, starring Suriya and Bobby Deol, was released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Touted as one of the biggest budget films from the Tamil industry with a total budget of 350 crore, its makers had already recovered more than the budget from digital, satellite, and theatrical rights before its release. Kanguva was fully prepared to break box office records on its first day, with expectations for an India Gross Collection in the 50 crore range.
However, the film faced significant challenges on its release day, resulting in its first-day collection being half of what was expected. The India Net Collection for the first day, across all languages, was 26 crore 32 lakh. This setback was primarily due to several issues in its main markets. In Tamil Nadu, the 12 PM and 3 PM shows were canceled in many locations, with theatres prioritizing a film released three weeks prior, which led to refunding bookings for the affected shows. In the Telugu states, screen availability was impacted by another film’s release. Consequently, half-day shows were canceled in both Tamil and Telugu markets, severely affecting the first-day collections.
Reviews for Kanguva from the Tamil audience were reportedly bad, leading to a significant drop in its second-day collections compared to the first. Morning show occupancy in South languages was down by 50% from the previous day, and the Hindi market also saw at least a 30% drop. According to reports, Kanguva collected only 13 crore 50 lakh net from India on its second day.
The two-day All India Net Collection for Kanguva stands at 39 crore 42 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of 47 crore 41 lakh. The film’s overseas gross collection, including paid premiere shows, has reached 34 crore 21 lakh. This brings Kanguva’s two-day worldwide box office collection to 81 crore 62 lakh. Hopes are high for a substantial jump in collections over the upcoming Saturday and Sunday.
