Leo Box Office: 20-Day Worldwide Collection Reaches ₹613 Crore
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Leo has achieved historic earnings at the box office in its initial 20 days and continues its strong collection. The movie, made on a budget of ₹300 crore, was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Leo saw massive collections across India in all five languages, alongside excellent overseas earnings.
Leo’s India State-wise Gross Collections
Leo, an original Tamil film, garnered its highest collection from its home market. The film has accumulated a total gross collection of ₹225 crore from Tamil Nadu, making it the highest-grossing film of 2023 in the state. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, despite facing competition from two major films upon release, Leo recorded a total gross collection of ₹49 crore. The film’s gross collection from Karnataka stands at ₹43 crore. Leo also achieved historic earnings in Kerala, with a total gross collection of ₹61 crore. In North India, including its Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, Leo’s total gross collection is ₹17 crore.
Leo’s Overseas and Worldwide Box Office Performance
Parallel to its record-breaking collections in India, Leo’s overseas gross collection has also been impressive. The film has collected ₹194 crore from the overseas market. Cumulatively, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo has achieved a worldwide gross collection of approximately ₹613 crore within its first 20 days. This makes Leo an all-time blockbuster at the box office and the highest-grossing film of Thalapathy Vijay’s career.
Salar Release Date Confirmed for December 22
Prabhas’s film Salar, directed by Prashanth Neel, is officially confirmed for release on December 22, coinciding with Christmas. This sets the stage for a major box office competition between Salar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. The film’s teaser has already been a blockbuster. Media reports indicate that the official trailer for Salar is scheduled to be released in the last week of November.
Tiger 3 Advance Booking Breaks Records
Salman Khan’s upcoming film Tiger 3, releasing on Diwali in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, has registered tremendous advance booking collections. Despite releasing on Lakshmi Pooja day, Tiger 3 continues to make strong earnings in advance bookings. The film’s first-day advance booking collection is solid, with significant bookings for the second and third days as well. Currently, advance bookings have only opened for the Hindi version of Tiger 3.
Tiger 3 Day-Wise Advance Booking Collections (Hindi)
Tiger 3’s first-day advance booking across India for its Hindi version stands at ₹8 crore 35 lakh, including blocked seats. For the second day, the India booking for the Hindi version has reached ₹4 crore 13 lakh. This brings the total advance booking for the first two days (November 12 and November 13) across India to ₹12 crore 48 lakh, including blocked seats.
Tiger 3 Worldwide Advance Booking Totals
In the overseas market, Tiger 3’s advance booking for the first three days has reached approximately ₹7 crore 23 lakh. Combining these figures, the total worldwide advance booking collection for Tiger 3 is ₹19 crore 71 lakh as of this morning. As the release date approaches, a significant surge in the film’s advance booking is expected.
