Japan Box Office Collection: Initial 6 Days Performance
The action-drama film Japan, starring Tamil superstar Karthi, was released this week in Tamil and Telugu languages with a budget of ₹50 crore. After 6 days, the film’s box office performance has been disappointing. Following its release, Japan received negative reviews, which impacted its earnings during the Diwali weekend. Collections declined further as weekdays began.
Regarding its worldwide gross collections, Japan recorded ₹21 crore 63 lakh during its initial three-day weekend across both Tamil and Telugu languages. On its fourth day, the film’s worldwide collection was ₹3 crore 51 lakh. The fifth day saw a further drop, with the film earning ₹3 crore 38 lakh worldwide. On its sixth day, Japan is estimated to be earning approximately ₹2.5 crore. With this, Japan‘s total worldwide gross collection over the first six days stands at ₹29 crore 2 lakh. Given its ₹50 crore budget, Japan appears to be a box office flop.
