The action historical war drama film 120 Bahadur, directed by Rajneesh Gha and starring Farhan Akhtar, Raashi Khanna, and Sparsh Walia, has opened to a decent reception at the box office. The film was released globally on approximately 2000 screens, with a budget of ₹80 crore. Prior to its release, the producers, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, had already recovered a significant amount through rights sales. Digital rights were sold for ₹28 crore, satellite rights for ₹17 crore, and music rights for ₹8 crore, totaling a pre-release recovery of ₹53 crore.

On its first day, 120 Bahadur recorded an India net collection of ₹3 crore 25 lakh, leading to an India gross collection of ₹3 crore 8 lakh. Internationally, the film received a decent response, contributing ₹1 crore 50 lakh to its first-day overseas gross collection. Consequently, the film’s first-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹5 crore 38 lakh. This is considered a rather low opening for a film of its budget.

De De Pyaar De 2: Eight-Day Box Office Report

Superstar Ajay Devgn’s romantic comedy-drama film De De Pyaar De 2, directed by Anshul Sharma and featuring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Misha Jaaferi, Gautami Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta, has completed eight days in cinemas. Built on a budget of ₹100 crore, the film performed decently in its first week. Despite a reduction in screen count in its second week due to new releases, De De Pyaar De 2 continues to earn decently.

The film’s India net collection for the initial six days was ₹52 crore 87 lakh. On its seventh day, it earned ₹3 crore 45 lakh at the Indian box office. On its eighth day, which was its second Friday, De De Pyaar De 2 recorded an India net collection of ₹1 crore 75 lakh, with morning shows showing an occupancy between 12% and 18%. This brings the film’s total All India net collection over eight days to ₹58 crore 7 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹69 crore 53 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for De De Pyaar De 2 after eight days is ₹86 crore 65 lakh. To achieve a ‘hit’ status, the film needs to surpass ₹120 crore, as its theatrical rights were sold for ₹60 to ₹65 crore.

The film’s first-day India net collection reached ₹3.5 crore, leading to an India gross collection of ₹4 crore 19 lakh. Overseas, Masti 4’s first-day gross collection was approximately ₹1 crore 15 lakh. Overall, the film’s first-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹5 crore 34 lakh. With a budget of ₹70 crore, the film will require a significant surge in collections in the coming days to be deemed a box office hit.
