Bollywood Box Office Updates: The Diplomat Collection Report
The Diplomat, an action-thriller film made on a budget of 65 crore, has completed 11 days in cinemas. The film made decent earnings at the box office. Despite limited pre-release hype and marketing, the film received good reviews, contributing to decent collections in its first week. A lack of major competition in the second week also led to decent earnings. The film’s initial 9-day India net collection stood at 23 crore 24 lakh. On its 10th day, the film earned 2 crore 78 lakh at the Indian box office. However, the film saw a significant drop on its 11th day, collecting only 1 crore 10 lakh. With this, The Diplomat’s total All India net collection over 11 days reached 27 crore 12 lakh. The India gross collection is 32 crore 26 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for the film after 11 days is 36 crore 52 lakh.

The film has delivered record-breaking earnings both at the Indian box office and internationally. Despite being in its second month in cinemas, the film continues to earn crores daily, setting a significant record as no previous Bollywood or South film in the Hindi market has achieved such high earnings in its seventh week. The film’s 37-day India net collection, combining Hindi and Telugu languages, was 591 crore 56 lakh. On its 38th day (the seventh Sunday), Chhaava collected 4 crore 41 lakh in India. Due to Monday being a working day and ticket rates dropping, the film is estimated to earn 1 crore 85 lakh in the Indian market on its 39th day. With these collections, Chhaava’s total All India net collection over 39 days stands at 597 crore 82 lakh, with projections to cross the 600 crore India net collection mark soon. The film’s India gross collection has reached 709 crore 40 lakh.
