Gadar 2 vs OMG 2: Box Office Advance Booking Update
Bollywood films OMG 2 and Gadar 2 are both set to release on August 11th. Advance bookings for both films have commenced.
OMG 2 Advance Booking Collections
Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 saw its advance booking open yesterday afternoon. Approximately one full day has passed since bookings began. The film’s initial one-day advance booking is reported as decent.
The first day’s advance booking for OMG 2 accumulated approximately ₹8 lakh. This translates to roughly 2000 tickets sold in advance for the first day. For the weekend, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the film’s advance booking stands at ₹13 lakh, with about 320 tickets booked.
Gadar 2 Advance Booking Performance
Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 commenced its advance bookings approximately three to four days ago. The earnings from its advance booking have been excellent, surpassing OMG 2 by many times.
The first day’s booking for Gadar 2 has already exceeded ₹40 lakh, with more than 16,000 tickets sold in advance for the opening day. For the entire weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Gadar 2’s advance booking has reached approximately ₹80 lakh, with over 35,000 tickets booked.
Gadar 2 Dominates Single Screen Advance Bookings
Gadar 2 is showing remarkable performance in single screens for advance bookings. The response received by Gadar 2 in single screens is comparable to that of Baahubali 2. While films like KGF received good responses in multiplexes, Gadar 2 is setting a new record in single screens.

In terms of advance bookings, Gadar 2 has significantly outpaced OMG 2.
