Alu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has set new box office benchmarks, crossing the lifetime box office collection of all Bollywood films within just nine days. Globally, Pushpa 2 earned more than the lifetime box office collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which was Bollywood’s highest-grossing film, in the same nine-day period. The film’s collections are increasing rapidly, with projections indicating Pushpa 2’s total box office collection will soon exceed that of Baahubali 2. Pushpa 2 also impressively surpassed ₹1000 crore in just six days of its theatrical run. Collections for the seventh, eighth, and ninth days continued to break records.

Pushpa 2 is currently in its second week in cinemas, with its collections continuing to be record-breaking, mirroring its spectacular performance in the first week. The Hindi theatrical rights for Pushpa 2 were sold for ₹200 crore, and the film needed a net collection of ₹300 crore in Hindi to be considered a hit. Pushpa 2 achieved a Hindi net collection of ₹205 crore in just three days of its release, a significant record as no other film had crossed the ₹200 crore mark so quickly in the Hindi market. Within five days, the film earned ₹339 crore from the Hindi market. The eighth-day India net collection across all languages was ₹47 crore 72 lakh. On its ninth day, Pushpa 2 earned approximately ₹45 crore from the Indian market across all languages. With these figures, Pushpa 2’s initial nine-day all-India net collection has exceeded ₹824 crore, and its India gross collection stands at ₹972 crore 51 lakh.
Worldwide Nine-Day Collection: Pushpa 2 Surpasses Major Films
The film has also performed strongly overseas, with its overseas gross collection surpassing ₹201 crore. Consequently, Pushpa 2’s initial nine-day worldwide total box office collection has reached ₹1173 crore 65 lakh. With this impressive earning, Pushpa 2 has become a major blockbuster within just nine days across all languages.
