When Pushpa 2 was released on December 5th, it achieved the biggest opening day worldwide for Indian cinema. Its first week collections surpassed 1000 crore rupees. The film maintained explosive collections in its second week and strong earnings in its third week. In its fourth week, Pushpa 2 delivered explosive box office collections. Hollywood film Mufasa was released in India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English, among a total of six languages. The film received a bumper opening at the box office. On its 21st day, despite the release of Baby Zone which led to a reduction in its Hindi screens, Pushpa 2 collected 9 crore 75 lakh Hindi net, which was more than Baby Zone‘s first-day collection. On its 22nd day, despite being a working day after the Christmas holiday, the film maintained a strong hold in the Hindi market and is estimated to collect approximately 8.5 crore from the Hindi version. The total Hindi net collection for Pushpa 2 over 22 days is 741 crore, and it is expected to cross the 750 crore mark in Hindi net collection within a few days. The film’s total Hindi gross collection stands at 877 crore. Pushpa 2 has been declared a blockbuster/maha mega blockbuster in the Hindi market.

It is projected that Pushpa 2 will cross Baahubali 2‘s lifetime box office collection in approximately five to six days, becoming the highest-grossing film in Indian cinema.
