Pushpa 2: Historic Worldwide Box Office Collection Continues
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has completed five weeks in cinemas, achieving a historic worldwide box office collection. The film continues to earn substantial revenue. Pushpa 1 had earned ₹100 crore in the Hindi market in 2021 without any promotion. Pushpa 2 has already made a collection in the Hindi market that no Bollywood film has achieved to date. Despite being released five weeks ago, the film’s collections are growing stronger daily. If new releases this week do not perform significantly, Pushpa 2 is poised to achieve record-breaking collections even in its sixth week. The film’s worldwide collection across all languages has significantly surpassed its budget.
Pushpa 2: 34-Day Worldwide and Hindi Market Earnings
Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film was released in six languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali, with a budget of ₹500 crore. The pre-release hype for the film was so strong that it earned more than its budget in just two days. By the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth day, its collection had crossed the ₹1000 crore mark. Within two weeks, the film broke all worldwide records. Even in its fifth week, with fewer screens, Pushpa 2‘s earnings remain strong. The film has surpassed the Indian collection of all films in Indian cinema history and has also overtaken Baahubali 2 in worldwide collection.
The Hindi net collection for Pushpa 2 over the first 32 days was ₹812 crore 20 lakh. On its 33rd day, the Hindi version earned ₹2 crore 21 lakh, showing a significant drop from expectations. On its 34th day, Pushpa 2 is estimated to earn approximately ₹2 crore in the Hindi market, with occupancy slightly down compared to the previous day. The total Hindi net collection for Pushpa 2 over 34 days has reached ₹816 crore 41 lakh. The Hindi gross collection stands at ₹967 crore 28 lakh. Given that the film’s Hindi theatrical rights were sold for ₹200 crore, Pushpa 2 has emerged as a very big blockbuster in the Hindi market.
From other languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film collected ₹602 crore 72 lakh at the Indian box office. The all-India gross collection across all languages is ₹1570 crore. The worldwide total box office collection for Pushpa 2 over its first 34 days is ₹1843 crore. With this record-breaking earning, Pushpa 2 has become an all-time mega blockbuster worldwide in 34 days. Game Changer is set to release in two to three days, which will lead to a significant reduction in Pushpa 2‘s screen count.
Marco: 19-Day Worldwide Box Office Performance
The action-packed film Marco, featuring Unni Mukundan and Kabir Duhan Singh, was made on a budget of ₹30 crore. Having completed 19 days in cinemas, Marco has achieved a historic worldwide collection, making it a big blockbuster. Although primarily a Malayalam film, it was released in a total of four languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film’s all-India net collection across all languages for the initial 18 days was ₹60 crore 45 lakh. On its 19th day, Marco earned ₹1 crore 75 lakh across all languages, receiving a decent response at the box office. The total all-India net collection for Marco over 19 days is ₹62 crore 20 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹74 crore 5 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Marco has reached ₹105 crore 26 lakh, indicating that it has earned over ₹105 crore worldwide, making it a big blockbuster against its ₹30 crore budget.
Fateh: Early Advance Booking Trends
The Bollywood action thriller Fateh stars Sonu Sood, Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vijay Raaz. Sonu Sood also directed the film. The film’s trailer received a super positive public response, and a recently released second trailer has further increased its hype. Fateh is scheduled for release on January 10th, with just three days remaining. Advance booking for Fateh has commenced, with limited booking available at present. The film is receiving a decent response in its advance bookings, and tickets are selling at a good pace where booking has begun. The first-day advance booking collection from these limited bookings is ₹15 lakh, and the weekend advance booking collection stands at ₹40 lakh. Full-India advance booking is yet to open.
Game Changer: Strong Worldwide Advance Booking
The political action drama thriller Game Changer, directed by Shankar, features Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and SJ Suryah. The film is set to release on January 10th, in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with three days left until its release. Overseas advance booking for Game Changer began some time ago. India’s advance booking has finally started, though not yet across the entire country. Bookings were opened in Bengaluru and a few selected cities yesterday evening, receiving a superb response. Booking in the film’s main Telugu market has not yet commenced, and advance booking for the Hindi version is expected to begin in approximately one more day.
Game Changer has already achieved strong earnings in India through its limited bookings. Its overseas advance booking collection is also decent. The first-day India advance booking collection is ₹6 crore 16 lakh. The weekend advance booking collection in India (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is ₹8 crore 27 lakh. The weekend overseas advance booking collection is ₹12 crore 31 lakh. The total worldwide advance booking collection for Game Changer has reached ₹26 crore 74 lakh. With three days still remaining until release and Hindi and Telugu advance bookings yet to open, the film’s first-day opening collection is anticipated to be strong.
