However, Pushpa 2, a South Indian film, has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Stree 2, Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster in the Hindi market. The film achieved record-breaking collections during its second weekend, with a Hindi net collection of ₹128 crore. This figure, earned over the second Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, marks the biggest second-weekend collection in Hindi to date, surpassing any previous Bollywood film. On its second Monday, the 12th day, Pushpa 2 maintained a strong hold at the box office, collecting a Hindi net collection of ₹22 crore 50 lakh. According to initial reports, Pushpa 2 is collecting ₹19 crore net in Hindi on its 13th day, showing only a slight drop in occupancy compared to the previous day. With these figures, Pushpa 2’s Hindi net collection stands at ₹605 crore within the first 13 days, surpassing the ₹600 crore mark and outperforming all Bollywood films in the Hindi market. The film’s Hindi gross collection has also reached ₹715 crore. Thus, in 13 days, Pushpa 2 has become a super-duper blockbuster in its Hindi version with over ₹700 crore in Hindi gross collection and over ₹600 crore in Hindi net collection.

Pushpa 2 has achieved record-breaking collections in its Hindi version and performed strongly in other South Indian languages. Collections from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu were particularly surprising, exceeding expectations. While Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (Telugu states) saw massive collections due to Allu Arjun’s superstardom, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka collections surpassed projections. The 11th day, the second Sunday, saw an even more astonishing collection of ₹117 crore worldwide. On the 12th day, a Monday, worldwide collections saw a drop, but not significantly, with the film earning ₹68 crore. For its 13th day, Pushpa 2 is estimated to collect ₹35 crore worldwide. It is confirmed that on its 14th day, Pushpa 2’s worldwide box office collection will surpass the ₹1500 crore mark. The film is set to cross ₹1500 crore worldwide within just two weeks (14 days). There is anticipation to see if Pushpa 2 will break the record of Baahubali 2, potentially reaching ₹1800 or ₹1850 crore, or even surpass Dangal, aiming for ₹2000 or ₹2200 crore in its final box office collection.
