Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 has completed six days in cinemas, showing record-breaking collections in India and strong earnings internationally. The film, made with an approximate budget of ₹55 crore, started with an explosive performance at the box office. Its weekend collections were notable, and earnings have remained strong even on weekdays, post-holidays. The film maintained a tremendous hold on Monday, with impressive occupancy on its fifth day.
Over its four-day weekend, Raid 2 achieved an All India Net Collection of ₹73 crore 83 lakh, surpassing its budget. On its fifth day, a Monday, the film collected ₹8 crore 21 lakh as India Net Collection, exceeding expectations. On its sixth day, occupancy saw a slight drop compared to the fifth day, with the film earning approximately ₹7 crore 60 lakh as India Net Collection.
With these figures, Raid 2’s initial six-day India Net Collection stands at ₹90 crore 64 lakh. The film’s India Gross Collection has crossed the ₹100 crore mark, reaching ₹106 crore 70 lakh. Internationally, Raid 2 has amassed a total of ₹15 crore 38 lakh. Cumulatively, the film’s initial six-day worldwide collection is ₹122 crore 8 lakh, making it a superhit at the box office, having earned over ₹122 crore against its ₹55 crore budget.
Jaat Final Box Office Collections
Sunny Deol’s film Jaat has completed 27 days in cinemas since its release on April 10. The film had tremendous collections in its first week and strong earnings in its second week. However, collections for the third week saw a slight drop due to the release of several other Bollywood films. By the fourth week, Jaat was playing on only 250 screens nationwide with fewer shows, resulting in quite low collections for that week.
The film, with a budget of ₹100 crore, had already seen ₹86 crore in recovery by its producers before release, from digital rights (₹45 crore), satellite rights (₹28 crore), and music rights (₹13 crore). Jaat’s 27-day All India Net Collection is ₹92 crore 13 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹109 crore 62 lakh. Its final overseas box office collection reached ₹15 crore 48 lakh. Globally, Jaat has earned a total of ₹125 crore 10 lakh, proving to be a big success at the box office.
Hit 3 Worldwide Box Office: Six-Day Report
Nani’s crime thriller Hit 3 has received a very good response, contributing to its box office performance. The film, with a budget of ₹80 crore, was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and other South Indian languages. Hit 3 achieved splendid earnings on its first day, followed by excellent collections during the weekend. Its earnings have continued to be strong during the weekdays.
Up to its fifth day, Hit 3 garnered an All India Net Collection of ₹58 crore 65 lakh. The film showed a very good hold in morning shows on its sixth day, with solid advance bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. On its sixth day, Hit 3 is collecting approximately ₹4 crore 70 lakh in the Indian market.
This brings Hit 3’s initial six-day India Net Collection to ₹63 crore 35 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹75 crore 38 lakh. The film’s worldwide collection for six days stands at ₹113 crore 50 lakh. Having earned over ₹113 crore globally against its ₹80 crore budget within six days, Hit 3 has been declared a big hit film at the box office, with expectations of continued strong earnings in the coming week.
Retro Box Office Performance: Six Days Worldwide
Suriya Sivakumar’s action thriller Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, was produced on a budget of ₹70 crore. Released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and other South languages, the film had a good opening on its first day at the box office, followed by decent collections during the weekend. However, its collections dropped significantly on weekdays, with fifth and sixth-day earnings being less than expected.
Retro’s initial five-day All India Net Collection was ₹53 crore 21 lakh. On its sixth day, the film’s morning show occupancy dropped by 12-14% compared to the previous day, and afternoon, evening, and night show bookings were also slightly less. Retro is estimated to earn approximately ₹3.5 crore from the Indian market on its sixth day.
This brings Retro’s initial six-day India Net Collection to ₹56 crore 41 lakh. The film’s India Gross Collection is ₹67 crore 12 lakh. Globally, Retro has amassed a total earning of ₹90 crore 24 lakh to date. With a budget of ₹70 crore and worldwide earnings exceeding ₹90 crore, the film is expected to cross the ₹100 crore mark globally in the coming days.
