Saiyaara Box Office Performance: Crossing the ₹400 Crore Mark

Saiyaara, released last week, continues its strong box office run, having already surpassed the ₹400 crore milestone. The film, made on a budget of ₹60 crore, has garnered nearly six times its budget in worldwide earnings. Its collections have been remarkable in India, mirroring its impressive performance overseas. The first week saw excellent numbers, and the second week has maintained this strong earning trend. The film is anticipated to face new Bollywood and South Indian releases in the coming days, with expectations for strong collections even in its third weekend.

Saiyaara’s 12-Day Worldwide Box Office Collections

Currently in its second week in cinemas, Saiyaara recorded impressive earnings during its second weekend. However, with the start of weekdays, ticket prices have been reduced, and screens have been slightly cut due to the release of Mahavtar Narasimha, leading to a slight dip in daily earnings. The film is now expected to see daily collections below ₹10 crore.

Saiyaara’s initial 10-day India net collection stood at ₹250 crore 75 lakh. On its 11th day, a Monday, the film collected ₹11 crore 25 lakh, despite earlier expectations of ₹14-15 crore. Reports indicate that on its 12th day, Saiyaara is earning approximately ₹9.5 crore in India net collection. This brings the film’s total India net collection over 12 days to ₹271 crore 50 lakh. The India gross collection is ₹324 crore 8 lakh, and the overseas gross collection has reached ₹87 crore 64 lakh. Cumulatively, Saiyaara’s 12-day worldwide total box office collection stands at ₹411 crore 72 lakh, establishing it as an all-time blockbuster against its ₹60 crore budget. The film is projected to cross the ₹500 crore mark in the near future.

Mahavtar Narasimha Box Office: Exceeding Expectations

This week’s release, Mahavtar Narasimha, has shown better-than-expected box office performance. With a budget of ₹30 crore, the film was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Originally a Kannada film, it was subsequently dubbed for multi-language release. The Hindi market currently accounts for the highest earnings, with strong collections also observed in Telugu and Kannada. In just five days, the film has collected more than its budget, showing potential to cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. While it was released only in India this week, an overseas release is planned for next week.

Mahavtar Narasimha’s 5-Day Collection Trends

Mahavtar Narasimha’s initial three-day India net collection from all five languages totaled ₹15 crore 85 lakh. On its fourth day, a Monday, the film collected ₹6 crore 18 lakh across all Indian markets and languages, a figure more than double its first-day earnings. The film received a better response on its fifth day compared to the fourth, with higher occupancy in morning shows and solid bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. Reports indicate that Mahavtar Narasimha is collecting approximately ₹6.5 crore in India net collection on its fifth day. This brings the film’s total India net collection for the first five days to ₹28 crore 53 lakh. The India gross collection is ₹33 crore 96 lakh. With only its India release so far, the film’s worldwide total collection in five days is ₹33 crore 96 lakh.
