Sayara Box Office Collection: A Blockbuster Run in Its Second Week

Blockbuster film Sayara has entered its second week, continuing its impressive box office performance. After record-breaking earnings in its first week, the film maintains strong collections. Initially, expectations for Sayara were modest, with projections of a ₹4 crore opening and a lifetime collection of ₹20-30 crore. However, the film has already earned over ₹50 crore worldwide. With a budget of just ₹60 crore, Sayara was released on 2800 screens on July 18. As its popularity grew, the screen count increased to 3500. Despite a reduction in screens in its second week due to new releases, the movie continues to deliver record-breaking collections.

The film’s collections have shown consistent growth, with earnings increasing each day from its first day through its fifth day. Sayara recorded a strong opening day collection of ₹22 crore. It crossed the ₹100 crore India Net mark in just 4 days, with a total of ₹108 crore 75 lakh. The ₹150 crore India Net milestone was achieved in 6 days, reaching ₹155 crore 75 lakh.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Debut

Pawan Kalyan’s film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, an action-adventure period thriller, has made a blockbuster debut at the box office this week. The film, starring Pawan Kalyan, Bobby Deol, and Nidhhi Agerwal, received mixed feedback from audiences, with Telugu audiences giving it a decent response and Hindi audiences largely appreciating it. Released across 4500 screens worldwide in five languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—the film saw its strongest collections from the Telugu version. The budget for Hari Hara Veera Mallu is approximately ₹250 crore.

The film held premiere shows a day before its official release, receiving a great response. Its India Net collection for premieres plus the first day reached ₹48 crore 21 lakh, marking a record-breaking opening. However, a drop in collections was observed on the second day. The film’s estimated India Net collection for its second day is ₹16 crore 50 lakh. This drop is attributed to mixed reviews and the second day being a working Friday, leading to a 35-40% decrease in morning occupancy compared to the previous day, with afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also lower.
