Salar Box Office: Two Weeks of Record Earnings
Pan-India superstar Prabhas’ blockbuster film Salar has completed two weeks in cinemas, achieving record-breaking collections from India and overseas within its initial two weeks. The film was released worldwide across 6500 screens in a total of five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Despite competition, Salar achieved record-breaking earnings worldwide within its initial two weeks, or 14 days.
Salar India and Worldwide Collection Breakdown
Salar garnered an All India Net Collection of ₹434 crore 50 lakh in its initial 12 days across all five languages. On its 13th day, the film recorded an India Net Collection of ₹6 crore 25 lakh. For the 14th day, Salar’s All India Net Collection is reported at ₹6 crore 10 lakh. With these figures, Salar’s total All India Net Collection for the first 14 days stands at ₹446 crore 85 lakh. The India Gross Collection for the film reached ₹531 crore 64 lakh. From the overseas market, the film collected ₹143 crore 71 lakh. Cumulatively, Salar’s worldwide box office collection for the initial two weeks, or 14 days, is ₹675 crore 35 lakh.
Dunki Box Office: 15-Day Global Performance
Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki has garnered significant earnings worldwide in 15 days. While its box office collections are not on par with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, considering its budget of ₹120 crore and genre, the film performed well in India and had good overseas collections over 15 days. Dunki is set to be a box office blockbuster, having already received a ‘Hit’ tag. The film was released on December 21, 2023, and has completed 15 days in cinemas.
Dunki India Net and Gross Collections
For its first week, or seven days, Dunki collected an India Net Collection of ₹152 crore 4 lakh. In the second week, the film recorded an India Net Collection of ₹56 crore 4 lakh. On its 15th day, which marks the third Thursday, Dunki’s India Net Collection is approximately ₹2 crore 10 lakh. This brings Dunki’s All India Net Collection for the first 15 days to ₹211 crore 15 lakh. The India Gross Collection for the film stands at ₹251 crore 60 lakh, surpassing the ₹250 crore mark in India for gross collections. The overseas collection for Dunki has reached ₹167 crore 50 lakh. Consequently, Dunki’s 15-day worldwide box office collection amounts to ₹419 crore 10 lakh.
Animal Box Office: Five Weeks as an All-Time Blockbuster
Bollywood film Animal, released on December 1, 2023, has completed five weeks in cinemas. The film, made with a budget of ₹135 crore, was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Animal achieved explosive earnings at the box office in its first three weeks. With the release of Dunki and Salar in its fourth week, Animal’s screen count was significantly reduced. However, despite the competition from Dunki and Salar, Animal performed well in its fourth and fifth weeks. The film has become an all-time blockbuster at the box office and holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing film of Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol’s careers to date. Among all films released last year, Animal became India’s third-highest-grossing film, following Pathaan and Jawan.

Animal’s All India Net Collection for its first week across all five languages was ₹338 crore 63 lakh. In its second week, the film collected an India Net Collection of ₹140 crore 51 lakh. The third week saw an India Net Collection of ₹54 crore 45 lakh. For its fourth week, Animal’s India Net Collection was ₹8 crore 51 lakh, and in its fifth week, it earned ₹6 crore 30 lakh.
Animal Total Worldwide Earnings
The cumulative All India Net Collection for Animal, up to five weeks, stands at ₹548 crore 40 lakh. Its India Gross Collection reached ₹656 crore. From the overseas market, Animal collected ₹232 crore. The film’s total worldwide box office collection is ₹888 crore.
