Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki, made with a budget of ₹120 crore, has completed 17 days in cinemas. The film was released on a large number of screens in the Hindi market. Dunki recorded an India net collection of ₹207 crore 43 lakh in its initial 14 days. On its 15th day, the film earned ₹3 crore 20 lakh, followed by ₹5 crore 7 lakh on the 16th day. Reports indicate that Dunki is collecting ₹5 crore 50 lakh as its India net collection on its 17th day, benefiting from the Saturday weekend holiday.
With these figures, Dunki‘s all-India net collection has reached ₹219 crore 17 lakh. The India gross collection stands at ₹261 crore. The film has garnered ₹169 crore from the overseas market. Globally, Dunki‘s total box office collection after 17 days is ₹430 crore. The lifetime box office collection for Dunki is projected to reach approximately ₹450 crore.
Salaar Box Office: 16-Day Worldwide Performance
Prabhas’s Salaar film has entered its third weekend in cinemas, witnessing a significant surge in collections. The movie, which holds the record for the biggest opening of 2023, is still attracting large audiences and making cinemas houseful. Salaar‘s first week and second week collections were described as tremendous.
The film’s all-India net collection for the initial 14 days (two weeks) was ₹446 crore 85 lakh across all five languages. On its 15th day (third Friday), Salaar collected an all-India net of ₹4 crore 73 lakh. On its 16th day (Saturday), Salaar has shown a substantial jump in collections. The film is reportedly earning an India net collection of ₹8 crore 50 lakh on its 16th day across all five languages.
This brings Salaar‘s cumulative India net collection to ₹459 crore 8 lakh after 16 days. The India gross collection stands at ₹546 crore 22 lakh. From the overseas market, Salaar has earned ₹145 crore 81 lakh. Consequently, Salaar‘s worldwide box office collection for the first 16 days is ₹692 crore 3 lakh. It is confirmed that Salaar is set to cross the ₹700 crore mark globally on its 17th day.
