Salaar Box Office: Global Collection Exceeds ₹700 Crore
Pan India superstar Prabhas’s film Salaar has successfully surpassed the ₹700 crore mark worldwide, continuing its strong performance at the box office. The film, released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada – achieved a remarkable ₹178 crore on its opening day globally. Within the first three days of its release, Salaar’s worldwide collection exceeded ₹400 crore during the weekend.
The film has now completed 17 days at the box office, with its total collection across all five languages showing impressive figures. In its initial 15 days, Salaar accumulated an all-India net collection of ₹451 crore 10 lakh. On its 16th day, which was the third Saturday, the film’s India net collection stood at ₹9 crore 73 lakh.
Salaar’s Latest Day-Wise India Net Earnings
On its 17th day, the third Sunday, Salaar is estimated to achieve an India net collection of ₹8 crore 50 lakh. This brings the film’s total all-India net collection over 17 days to ₹466 crore 33 lakh. The India gross collection for Salaar stands at ₹550 crore. From the overseas market, the film has garnered ₹151 crore, pushing its total worldwide box office collection over 17 days to ₹701 crore.
Initially, during the third week, Salaar saw a dip in collections on Monday. However, earnings experienced a significant jump during the subsequent Friday and Saturday. The film’s occupancy across India today is notably higher than Dunki, particularly performing better in the Hindi market. The Telugu version continues to receive a good response, while collections from the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions have significantly reduced.
Dunki Box Office: Total Worldwide Collection and Performance
Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki, which was released a day earlier than Salaar on December 22, has completed 18 days in cinemas. Released exclusively in Hindi, Dunki is a comedy-drama film.
In its first 15 days, Dunki collected an India net of ₹209 crore 53 lakh. On the 16th day, the film earned ₹3 crore 85 lakh. Collections saw a rise on the 17th day, a Saturday, with an India net collection of ₹4 crore 35 lakh. For its 18th day, a Sunday, Dunki is estimated to register an India net collection of ₹5 crore 25 lakh, benefiting from the holiday and strong morning show occupancy, as well as solid bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows.
Dunki’s Accumulated India Net and Global Totals
With these collections, Dunki’s all-India net collection over 18 days has reached ₹223 crore. The India gross collection for Dunki is ₹265 crore. From the overseas market, the film has made a total of ₹171 crore. This brings Dunki’s total worldwide collection over 18 days to ₹436 crore. With a budget of ₹120 crore, Dunki has been declared a clean hit at the box office.
