Prabhas’s Salar Continues Record-Breaking Box Office Run

Pan India Superstar Prabhas’s film Salar, released on December 22, 2023, has completed 12 days in cinemas, making record-breaking collections day by day. The film has garnered massive collections from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages worldwide within these 12 days. Salar took the biggest opening of 2023 on its first day, and its daily collections have continued to be remarkable.

Dunki’s 13-Day Global Box Office Collections

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki, released on December 21, recorded an India net collection of ₹178 crore 25 lakh in its initial 10 days. On its 11th day, Dunki earned ₹9 crore 25 lakh, followed by ₹10 crore 35 lakh on its 12th day. The film’s estimated India net collection for its 13th day is ₹7 crore 50 lakh. With this, Dunki’s total India net collection for 13 days stands at ₹205 crore 55 lakh, and its All India gross collection is ₹245 crore 49 lakh. In the overseas market, Dunki has collected a total of ₹162 crore 50 lakh. Cumulatively, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has achieved a worldwide box office collection of ₹408 crore in its first 13 days.

Salar’s Hindi Market Performance

Despite receiving fewer screens in the Hindi market due to competition from Dunki, Salar achieved a net collection of ₹131 crore 63 lakh in its initial 10 days. On its 11th day, January 1st, the film recorded a Hindi net collection of ₹8 crore 30 lakh. While a drop in morning show occupancy was observed, Salar’s estimated Hindi collection for its 12th day is ₹5 crore 50 lakh. This brings Salar’s 12-day Hindi net collection to ₹145 crore 43 lakh, with a Hindi gross collection of ₹173 crore 35 lakh. The film has been declared a super duper hit in the Hindi market.

Salar’s All India & Worldwide Collections

Salar’s initial 10-day All India net collection across all five languages amounted to ₹413 crore 80 lakh. The film’s India net collection on its 11th day was ₹14 crore 30 lakh. For its 12th day, Salar is estimated to collect an India net of ₹7 crore 50 lakh across all five languages. This elevates Salar’s 12-day India net collection to ₹435 crore 60 lakh, and its All India gross collection to ₹519 crore. From the overseas market, the film has accumulated a total of ₹141 crore. Salar’s total worldwide box office collection has reached ₹660 crore. This figure surpasses the earnings of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, indicating Salar’s clear victory in the box office clash.
