With a budget of ₹120 crore, the film has earned significantly more than its budget within these six days. While Dunki’s collections are not higher than Salaar’s, the earnings relative to its budget are considerable. The movie has garnered a ‘Clean Hit’ tag at the box office.

Dunki Day-wise and Total Collections

Dunki recorded an All India Net Collection of ₹105 crore 63 lakh during its initial four-day weekend. Its four-day Worldwide Collection stood at ₹211 crore 53 lakh. On the fifth day, which was Christmas Monday, the film benefited from the holiday, achieving an All India Net Collection of ₹24 crore 40 lakh. For its sixth day, Dunki is reported to be collecting approximately ₹15 crore in India Net Collection. A drop in collections was observed on the sixth day, though it was not substantial, as the movie’s appeal to family audiences helped maintain good occupancy in morning, evening, and night shows. The total All India Net Collection for Dunki within its first six days is ₹145 crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹172 crore. In the overseas market, Dunki has surpassed the ₹100 crore mark, with a total gross collection of ₹108 crore. The six-day Worldwide Collection for Dunki has reached ₹280 crore.

Salaar Box Office Record-Breaking Performance

Pan India Superstar Prabhas’s film Salaar has shattered all box office records worldwide. Released on December 22nd, a Friday, the film has completed 5 days in cinemas. Salaar was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film took the biggest opening of 2023. Collections on the second, third, and fourth days were exceptional. A notable drop in Hindi collections has been observed on the fifth day due to the start of working days, with morning show occupancy down by 50% compared to the previous day, and bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows also halved. The total five-day Hindi Gross Collection for Salaar stands at ₹98 crore, with expectations for it to cross ₹100 crore in the Hindi market tomorrow.

During its initial three-day weekend, Salaar garnered an All India Net Collection of ₹252 crore across all five languages. The film’s three-day Worldwide Collection exceeded ₹400 crore. On the fourth day, Salaar maintained a strong hold in the All India market, with an India Net Collection of ₹33 crore across all five languages. For its fifth day, Salaar’s All India Net Collection across all five languages is estimated to be approximately ₹25 crore. Similar to the Hindi market, occupancy for Salaar on the fifth day has significantly dropped in South languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, due to the commencement of working days and the reopening of schools and colleges. The total All India Net Collection for Salaar within five days is approximately ₹340 crore, with an All India Gross Collection of ₹405 crore.
