Shaitaan Completes One Week at the Box Office
Shaitaan has completed seven days in cinemas. The film made sensational earnings in India and overseas within the first week. With a budget of ₹60 crore, Shaitaan earned double its budget in its first week. The film has secured the “superhit” tag within the first week, and its final box office collection is expected to be four times its budget.
Shaitaan’s India Net Collection Trends
Shaitaan took an opening of more than ₹15 crore at the box office. The film’s weekend collection was tremendous, and it made excellent earnings during weekdays. In five days, Shaitaan’s India net collection reached ₹69 crore ₹11 lakh. On its sixth day, the film collected an India net of ₹6 crore 82 lakh. For its seventh day, morning shows saw an occupancy drop of only six to seven percent compared to the previous day. Afternoon, evening, and night show bookings for the seventh day remained solid, similar to the previous day. The total India net collection for Shaitaan after seven days is ₹82 crore 44 lakh.
Shaitaan’s Global Box Office Performance
The India gross collection for Shaitaan over seven days stands at ₹98 crore 74 lakh. From overseas markets, the film has collected a total of ₹20 crore 57 lakh. Shaitaan’s seven-day worldwide box office collection has reached ₹119 crore ₹31 lakh. This places the film’s worldwide collection in the range of approximately ₹120 crore in its first week, which is double its budget. Shaitaan’s screens are expected to reduce by approximately 60% in the second week due to the release of Yodha. However, if the film receives a good response in the second week, its screens might increase again.
Yodha’s Advance Booking Performance
The film Yodha is set to release tomorrow. Advance booking for Yodha started two days prior and has received a decent response. The first-day advance booking collection for Yodha was ₹1 crore 8 lakh. The second-day (Saturday) advance booking collection was ₹77 lakh. The third-day (Sunday) advance booking collection was ₹71 lakh. Yodha’s all-India weekend advance booking stands at ₹2 crore 56 lakh. Yodha is expected to receive a good number of screens, which might lead to a slowdown in Shaitaan’s collections from the second week.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Expectations
The film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is scheduled for release on Eid. Its trailer is set to release on March 26. The film is expected to achieve this year’s biggest opening from Bollywood. If the film performs well, it could become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
