Sikander Box Office: Week 2 Performance
Bollywood mega star Salman Khan’s film Sikander has entered its second week at the box office. The film has maintained the same number of screens it occupied in its first week. Sikander, an action thriller released on Eid, was directed by AR Murugadoss and stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Agarwal, and Satyraj. With a budget of 200 crore, the film received a धमाकेदार (explosive) opening at the box office due to Salman Khan’s name and stardom. Collections on the second day, an Eid holiday, were excellent. However, a slight drop was observed in collections on the third day, and after the fourth day, the film’s earnings significantly declined day by day. Despite the reviews, Sikander has performed well not only in India but also overseas. Its worldwide collections are close to its budget and are expected to cross it within a day or two, having already surpassed the 200 crore mark worldwide due to Salman Khan’s stardom.
Impuraan Box Office Collection: A Malayalam Blockbuster
The Pan-India action crime thriller Impuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, and Manju Warrier, has completed 11 days in cinemas. Made on a budget of 150 crore, the film had already crossed the 50 crore mark, and its earnings continue to be outstanding. Impuraan has already become one of the biggest blockbusters in Malayalam cinema and is poised to soon achieve the record for the highest collection from Malayalam cinema.
The film’s initial 10-day All India Net Collection across all languages was 96 crore 14 lakh. Notably, the film’s Overseas Gross Collection of 138 crore 76 lakh is even higher than its India collection. Thus, Impuraan’s 11-day Worldwide Total Box Office Collection is 258 crore 46 lakh, earning it a Superhit tag.
Veeradhira Suran Box Office Update: Second Week Collections
The Tamil action thriller Veeradhira Suran, directed by SU Arun Kumar and starring Chiyaan Vikram and SJ Suryah, is also running in its second week and is performing better than anticipated. Veeradhira Suran’s initial 10-day India Net Collection was 34 crore 53 lakh. On its 11th day, the film is earning an estimated 3 crore 65 lakh. Sikander 8-Day Worldwide Box Office Totals
Salman Khan’s film Sikander, which was released on March 30th, has now completed 8 days in cinemas. The film’s earnings were primarily concentrated in its initial three days, with collections subsequently decreasing day by day. This week’s weekend (Friday and Saturday) saw a decent growth in collections, though not as substantial as observed for other films, largely attributed to moderate public reviews and lower audience satisfaction than anticipated.
Sikander’s initial six-day All India Net Collection was 109 crore 73 lakh. On its seventh day, the film showed no major growth, collecting only 4 crore 81 lakh in the Indian market. On its eighth day, a Sunday, the film is experiencing a slight increase in occupancy compared to the previous day and is estimated to collect approximately 5.5 crore in India Net Collection.
