The action-drama-thriller film Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran and starring Thala Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Das, is set for release on April 10. This Tamil film is also being dubbed and released in Telugu and Hindi. The film’s advance booking collections have been explosive, making it poised for the biggest opening in Ajith Kumar’s career. Its first-day (opening day) advance booking from all over India stands at ₹19 crore 28 lakh.
For the second day (Friday), the film recorded ₹4 crore 92 lakh in India. On the third day (Saturday), India bookings reached ₹5 crore 17 lakh, followed by ₹5 crore 61 lakh on the fourth day (Sunday) in India. The total India advance booking for the initial four days (weekend) of Good Bad Ugly has accumulated to ₹34 crore 98 lakh.
Internationally, the film’s overseas advance booking collections for the weekend have also been remarkable, totaling ₹21 crore 37 lakh. Combining these, the worldwide total advance booking collection for Good Bad Ugly for the initial four days has reached ₹56 crore 35 lakh. While the film did not receive a particularly strong response in its Telugu and Hindi versions, the Tamil version’s advance booking collections have been astounding.
Sikandar Box Office: 11-Day Worldwide Collections
Salman Khan’s action-drama film Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is currently in its second week in cinemas. The film, made on a budget of ₹200 crore, has now completely lost momentum at the box office.
Sikandar collected ₹54 crore 72 lakh worldwide on its first day of release. The film crossed the ₹100 crore mark in two days, with its two-day worldwide collection standing at ₹105 crore lakh. It took only four days for the film to cross the ₹150 crore mark, earning over ₹158 crore globally within that period. However, it took the film a full nine days to cross its budget, with a worldwide collection of ₹200 crore 93 lakh in nine days.
The film’s worldwide box office collections on its 10th and 11th days saw a significant decline. On the 10th day, Sikandar earned only ₹4 crore 48 lakh worldwide. On its 11th day, the film is collecting just ₹3 crore 25 lakh in the worldwide market. With these figures, the total worldwide box office collection for Salman Khan’s Sikandar for its initial 11 days has reached ₹207 crore 66 lakh.
Jaat: Impressive Advance Booking Performance
The highly anticipated action film Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni and starring Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shaami Kher, and Jagapathi Babu, is set to release. The film’s advance booking has been spectacular, indicating that Sunny Deol is once again set to dominate the box office after Gadar 2.
The first-day advance booking for Sunny Deol’s Jaat stands at ₹3 crore 68 lakh. For the second day (Friday), the all-India booking has collected ₹1 crore 24 lakh. Saturday, the third day, saw bookings of ₹1 crore 81 lakh, while Sunday, the fourth day, recorded ₹1 crore 98 lakh in India bookings.
The total India booking for the initial four days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) of Jaat has reached ₹8 crore 71 lakh. In international markets, the film has also received a decent response in bookings, with its overseas weekend advance booking collecting ₹4 crore 56 lakh. Overall, the worldwide advance booking collection for Jaat for its initial four days totals ₹13 crore 27 lakh.
