Sitare Zameen Par Box Office Performance and Collections
The film Sitare Zameen Par has made a significant impact at the box office. With a budget of ₹80 crore, the movie has earned more than its budget within just three days. Despite a slow start, strong public reviews led to a substantial increase in collections on the second and third days.
On its first day, Sitare Zameen Par recorded an All India Net Collection of ₹10 crore 70 lakh, which was noted as a small opening considering Aamir Khan’s stardom. However, the film experienced a remarkable surge on its second day, collecting ₹20 crore 41 lakh in India Net Collection. This represents a 90% growth compared to the first day, surpassing initial predictions of ₹14-15 crore. Due to Sunday, the third day saw an even bigger jump, with an estimated India Net Collection of ₹25 crore 50 lakh. Morning show occupancy was higher than the second day, and bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows also improved significantly compared to the first and second days.
The film’s cumulative three-day All India Net Collection stands at approximately ₹56 crore 61 lakh, while the India Gross Collection is ₹67 crore 36 lakh. Internationally, Sitare Zameen Par also saw good growth in collections over the past two days after a slow start, earning ₹21 crore 17 lakh from the overseas market. This brings the film’s total three-day worldwide collection to ₹88 crore 53 lakh, exceeding its ₹80 crore budget. The film was released on 3200 screens in India and 5000 screens worldwide. The movie is expected to hold well on Monday, and if collections remain in double digits, it could achieve a lifetime box office collection of up to ₹300 crore.
Kuberа Box Office: Day-Wise and Worldwide Collections
The pan-India action drama social thriller film Kuberа, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna, has shown exceptional box office performance. While South Indian films often see a decline in earnings after the first day, Kuberа defied this trend with increased collections on its second day and a significant surge on its third day. The film was released on 3500 screens worldwide in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On its first day, Kuberа collected ₹14 crore 75 lakh across all languages, achieving better collections than expected. Despite lower morning occupancy on the second day, the film’s afternoon, evening, and night shows recorded higher bookings than the first day, resulting in an India collection of over ₹15 crore across all languages. The third day saw even stronger performance, with morning show occupancy at least 15% more than the first and second days, and afternoon, evening, and night show bookings better than the second day. The estimated India collection for the third day is ₹16.5 crore across all languages.
Kuberа’s cumulative three-day India Net Collection is ₹46 crore 57 lakh, and its India Gross Collection is ₹55 crore 41 lakh. The film has also performed well in the overseas market, earning ₹21 crore 65 lakh. Consequently, Kuberа’s total three-day worldwide box office collection has reached ₹77 crore 6 lakh. With a budget of ₹120 crore, the film is projected to earn more than its budget in its first week. Given the positive reviews, the movie is expected to be a superhit.
Housefull 5 Box Office Update: 17-Day Collections
Akshay Kumar’s comedy film Housefull 5, released on June 6, achieved the third biggest opening worldwide of 2025 on its first day. The film’s first week collections were excellent due to positive public reviews, and its second week earnings remained very strong due to a lack of competition from new releases.
Currently in its third week, Housefull 5 has seen a reduction in screens due to new Bollywood and South Indian releases, yet its collections remain good for this period. The film’s India Net Collection for the first 15 days stood at ₹179 crore 39 lakh. On its 16th day (third Saturday), Housefull 5 collected approximately ₹2 crore 53 lakh. The 17th day (Sunday) saw an estimated collection of ₹2 crore 85 lakh in the Indian box office, with significantly better morning show occupancy and higher afternoon, evening, and night show bookings compared to the previous day.

In the overseas market, the film’s gross collection is ₹56 crore 28 lakh, although its international earnings are almost ending and the film is expected to be removed from overseas screens in a few days. Housefull 5’s total 17-day worldwide box office collection is ₹276 crore 9 lakh. The film’s budget is ₹25 crore. To join the ₹300 crore club, Housefull 5 needs to earn an additional ₹24 crore.
