SKYFORCE 1st Day Box Office Collection Worldwide: Akshay Kumar & Veer P's Movie Earnings

Sky Force Box Office: A Resurgent Performance

This week’s release, Sky Force, made a phenomenal earning on its first day at the box office. Remarkably, the film’s collections increased even further on the second day. Sky Force has proven to be the best start for Bollywood in 2025. Prior to Sky Force, three films were released this year from Bollywood: Sonu Sood’s Fateh, Ajay Devgn’s Azad, and Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. Sky Force has earned more in just two days than the total earnings of these three previous films combined.

Sky Force also marks a significant comeback for Akshay Kumar. After 2019, two of Akshay Kumar’s films, Sooryavanshi and Oh My God, were successful at the box office. However, subsequent films saw declining performance. Sky Force has demonstrated that Akshay Kumar’s star power remains. On its release day, cinemas were packed to watch Sky Force. The film saw a slow start in morning shows but significantly picked up pace in afternoon, evening, and night shows, leading to spectacular first-day earnings.

Sky Force Day 1 & Day 2 Box Office Collections

The film’s collections increased on its second day due to strong word-of-mouth publicity, as viewers shared positive feedback about the film’s quality. Additionally, the second day was a Saturday, a half-holiday, which contributed to substantial growth in collections. The first day’s India net collection for Sky Force was ₹12 crore 36 lakh. On its second day, Sky Force is performing an India net collection of approximately ₹15 crore 50 lakh.

Sky Force India Net and Gross Collections

The initial two-day all-India net collection for Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force stands at ₹27 crore 86 lakh. The film’s India gross collection for the first two days is ₹33 crore 43 lakh.

Sky Force Overseas and Worldwide Box Office

Sky Force has also garnered strong earnings in overseas markets. The film’s overseas gross collection so far is ₹5 crore 12 lakh. Combining these figures, Sky Force has achieved a worldwide box office collection of ₹38 crore 26 lakh within its first two days globally.

Sky Force Budget and Pre-Release Earnings

The total budget for Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force is ₹80 crore, with Akshay Kumar not taking any fees for his role. The film’s makers, however, spent ₹80 crore on production. Before its release, the film had already generated revenue. Its digital rights were sold for ₹55 crore, satellite rights for ₹32 crore, and music rights for ₹10 crore. This means the makers had already recovered ₹97 crore before the film’s theatrical release, resulting in a pre-release profit of ₹17 crore for the producers.

Box Office Trends and Comparisons for Sky Force

Sky Force has surpassed the lifetime collections of many of Akshay Kumar’s previous films in just two days. With Sunday and January 26th approaching, a significant surge in the film’s collections is anticipated, potentially exceeding the combined earnings of the first and second days. If Sky Force maintains its performance beyond Monday, it is expected to cross ₹100 crore in worldwide earnings, solidifying its status as a superhit at the box office.
